Many will say Trump won because he successfully capitalized on blue collar workers' anxieties about immigration and globalization. Others will say he won because America rejected a deeply unpopular alternative. Still others will say the country is simply racist to its core.

The headline words, "political correctness," must, from now on, be appropriately defined as censorship. Rising generations must be taught about the tactics used by "progressives" which, when disguised, rob them of their First Amendment rights.

Alternatively: some people thought electing an African-American president meant we would stop hearing about racism all the time. Apparently, it actually meant we'd never stop hearing about racism.

This made voters skeptical about Hillary's claim to be a uniter. Voters felt like she'd just continue the fragmentation and Balkanization of the Obama era. The contrast between somebody always talking about being a unifier but expressing it in such a divisive way got to voters. So they went with Trump.

This comment sort of tips me off to what the author really believes. Overall, I get the impression that he thinks Trump won only because of his willingness to call out our enemies on the Left, and not because of any substance.

Anybody who accepts gender-neutral pronouns has way too much time on their hands.
