Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who has indicated in recent days that he thinks Minnesota is his to win, will make his first public visit to the state Sunday.

“We’re going to Minnesota,” Trump said at a rally in Florida, according to reporters who were there. Trump’s Minnesota campaign confirmed the visit.

Minnesota Republican Party Chairman Keith Downey said the rally will be at 2 p.m. at the Sun Country hangar at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, according to initial information from the Trump campaign.

This is YUGE.

Two days before the election and he's visiting the Twin Cities?

Even Reagan didn't take Minnesota.

TRUMPSLIDE.

I’d say he would be better off aiming for Pennsylvania or Michigan, but heck what to I know, maybe his internal polling is showing even Minnesota is in play....

Howard Baker refused to spend any money on Mondale’s home state, and Reagan still only lost by a few thousand votes. In hind sight, a mistake—taking the state would have made his landslide surpass Nixon’s.

MI, OH, PA, WI, IN, MN — Trump takes 4 of 6 — mix and match.

The beauty is that Trump could do all of those in one day before Hillary could crawl out of her sick bed to see what happened.

This is why it is important to tell folks to ignore the MSM and see where the candidates are campaigning in the closing days for the state of the race. Trumps internal polling says he can take the state, so why not. Be interesting if the Hildebeast adds a stop to Minnesota to confirm the state is up for grabs.

The RCP average is complete garbage, as is many of the media polls that make it up. FOXNEWS seems to be as bad as the rest.

No, Team Trump thinks there is something in MN. A week ago I saw internals that had them within 1.

There’s no reason to go for states that are longshots that he doesn’t need. It sounds like a bad plan to me. If the easier states were shored up, I would just go back to them to add onto the margin of victory. If he’s losing the easier states and going for a hail mary pass to make up for them, then it’s a bad position to be in.

If Obama is encouraging illegals to vote, he is encouraging them to break yet another law?

I live in Minnesota. Almost everyone I know is voting Trump. Even my daughter, who voted for 0bama twice, is voting Trump. The recent Muslim knife attack in St. Cloud, and our Democrat governor admitting that 0bamacare is not affordable, and the coming double digit increase, are all moving people to Trump.

I heard that Trump is within the margin of error here. I don’t know if he can win MN, but he will definitely do better here than either McCain or Romney.
