Hume was called in from retirement practically, serving only until a permanent host could be found. He will be fine with this interim coming to a close.

Tucker brings some energy to the ho hum of O’Really, Megyn, Brett and Brit. Millenials may show up, with Tucker.

Tucker’s going to be a busy boy for the next two weeks. Trying to keep up with the elections and starting his own show 6 days after......Tough.

He’s a level headed, quick witted conservative. I bet he’d be fun to drink a few beers with too.

I've observed Tucker very closely this past year...and listened with a critical ear to what he says....and, believe me, I have one of the most critical ears you can imagine when it comes to TV commentators, hosts and pundits!

I can state unequivocably that Carlson is a conservative's conservative in whom I have complete faith.

Some folks remember his bow tie when he was a fledgling on TV and think he's a sissy. Quite the contrary...watch him in action when he gets into it with a lefty! He gives no quarter!

I challenge anyone to print here on this forum any anti-conservative statements or pro-liberal stands he takes.

As far as the dopey poster here who called him a "pretty boy", let me just say that we TV-watching FReeperettes deserve a little good-lookin' conservative eye-candy once in a while, also!

I like Tucker since he was with CNN. Remember? He had his own show with another liberal guy. CNN wasn’t as terrible as back then. That show was my favorite. He was terrible at MSNBC in my opinion. Now I hope they move Lou Dobb to Megyn’s slot. That would be perfect!

“Move Tucker to 9:00 PM and send Megyn Kelly back to the minor leagues or trade her off to MSNBC.”

I like your idea, we can only hope and pray.

Better than I sold my soul to the Party Hume. They screwed up when they let ReGretta go. She was a lib but a fair down the middle liberal a rarity these days. If Chatsworth strays too far from the Party line he will be reined in by the Murdoch brothers and MeAgain!

Tucker's been straying from the party line on Fox and Friends Weekend for a few years now. He's one of the few reasons I've continued to watch anything on Fox since the first Republican primary debate where Meagain and the others showed their try colors concerning Trump's candidacy.

Glad Tucker's getting his own show.

Why was Greta fired? I liked her. I also like Tucker Carlson. I just wish Lou Dobbs’s time slot will be changed.

I am delighted Tucker will be on nightly. He’s a great debater, doesn’t miss a trick, and is highly intelligent. This made by day. I was afraid they would pick a lousy replacement for Greta. Luckily Fox didn’t and it will really help their evening format.

P.S. Greta and Tucker got into it one night long ago, and weren’t speaking for a while. I would think Greta might be upset that it is Tucker that is replacing her.

Bingo! Tucker is one of us! He should pair up with Monica Crowley.

I thought he came out as a Never TRumper at several junctures.....

No way! Tucker was pro-Trump, albeit in a quiet way at first, from many months ago.

I'm thrilled that Tucker will take this time slot. I might have preferred Monica Crowley, Harris Faulkner or Laura Ingraham (if she has the time), but Tucker is an excellent pick. It sends a signal from the liberal Murdoch brothers will stick with their winning formula, of keeping FNC (mostly) conservative, and not start to incrementally morph into CNN and/or MSNBC.

Tucker Carlson hasn’t worn bowties in many years (since his CNN days, I think). He has been pretty much pro-Trump since just before Trump won the GOP primary, from what I’ve seen of him on FNC.

No, absolutely incorrect. Tucker is an extremely smart, witty conservative who doesn’t take crap from Leftists.

Exactly right, TT! Tucker was pro-Trump before it was "cool" for media types to be pro-Trump, lol. He's the closest thing to Sean Hannity in that FNC nightly line-up. I'm thrilled at this news. Looks like the liberal Murdoch brothers want to stick with their winning formula.

Replace Kelly with Trish Regan or Judge Jeanine, please.

AMEN to that! Or maybe Monica Crowley, Harris Faulkner or Laura Ingraham (if she has the time).
