The man who officials say shot and killed two police officers in an ambush-style attack this morning in central Iowa has been captured.
The suspect, identified as 46-year-old Urbandale resident Scott Michael Greene, was located in Dallas County by the Dallas County Sheriff's Office and Iowa State Patrol this morning after officials launched a statewide manhunt, according to Sgt. Chad Underwood of the Urbandale Police Department. He is being transported to Des Moines, police said.
Greene was wanted in connection to separate shootings that left two police officers dead in the Des Moines area....

No. minutes after the attacks, it was reported that he’s a white supremacist, so you know what the story will be for the next 6 days.

Greene was recently asked to leave a high school after “displaying a Confederate flag.” You can guess how the Left is going to politicize this. There seems to be a history of mental illness in the family.
site this AM had video of a non-violent confrontation with police at a football game. He had been in the stands with an American and Confederate flag harassing some blacks and the police removed him from the stands. He was haranguing near the street with police much as some of the anti-police perps have done in recent videos. The thought left by the writer of the post was that this event was the causal factor in the shooting.

This guy might be guilty as hell, but nowhere does the reporting suggest evidence or specific motive. He's clearly poor in his judgment (now that the battle flag is officially a hate crime), probably feels persecuted (by mom & life in general), but description of the football confrontation hardly rates as rage driven or violence prone...It even reads like he turned himself in without fuss when he learned he was wanted.
What led the law to name him a suspect?
