It was bad enough that it morphed into “touch football” with pink all over the uniforms...
This past Sunday I noticed a couple of MLS games on during the NFL games; smart of them to realize they might pick up viewers who were tired of watching a couple of hours of commercials interspersed with literally MINUTES of play. US soccer is second-rate, but at least has no commercials - the game will be over in two hours (and they are 90 minutes long, unlike the 60 minute NFL games stretched into 3 1/2 hour commercial-thons).
Wrong again, I am not watching NFL games because there’s something MORE IMPORTANT going on and the second reason is there’s two world series teams that haven’t won in years.
