Survey: 35% of federal workers may consider leaving their jobs if Trump wins

Of course, for many conservatives hearing these survey results, their first response is likely along the lines of, “Good riddance. Can we start with the workers at the VA?” That’s not just anecdotal either. A different survey previously highlighted in the same outlet showed that a significant majority of Trump voters aren’t exactly wild about federal workers to begin with.

Donald Trump supporters do not like federal employees very much, though the feeling does not appear to be mutual.

Trump supporters are nearly united in their frustration with federal government policies, according to a new survey from Rasmussen Reports, with 96 percent saying they are “angry” at them. Just 36 percent of Hillary Clinton supporters said the same.

About six in 10 backers of the Republican nominee say the federal government rarely or never does the right thing. Nine in 10 disagree that federal government is a “protector of individual liberty.”

So if anyone is looking to use this survey as a reason to scare Trump voters away from the polls it’s likely to backfire. Most of those federal workers aren’t going anywhere, and if they did there wouldn’t be too many tears shed over it in conservative circles.

When Trump drains the swamp, all that algae will have to go somewhere.

Wow, the benefits of a Trump win just keep on rolling in.

Meanwhile, “considering” means nothing, how about they submit resignations...the answer to that is simple, they don’t want to be unemployed.

January 21st, stay away from all the tall buildings in DC because all the political appointments will be without jobs and may take up jumping.

If the crooks at the top go to jail, many government workers quit their jobs, and many liberals leave the country that would help Trump to right this ship faster than anyone dreamed!

They should take advantage of the super economy, the free healthcare, and the fantastic job market that Our President 0bama has provided a grateful country. And thank you CNN for giving us all this great news...

They “may consider” it; yeah right. Federal jobs will have to be pried out of their cold dead hands.

35% down, 60% to go.

If we are to be restored to a Constitutional Republic, we would only need approx. 5%.

95% NEED TO GO!

Start with wiping out the EPA, IRS, Educ.Dept, ATF, and go from there. Go, Donald!

That's just their way of saying that they don't like Trump.

Don't count on people actually going through with it and resigning.

There aren't enough jobs out their to accommodate hundreds of thousands of former government workers -- not at the standard of living and with the perks they're used to.

Given that one of the very few powers that the states have actually delegated to the feds to control domestic policy is to run the US Mail Service (1.8.7), a lot more than 35% of federal workers probably need to find a new employer.

And if state lawmakers wise up and put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that the corrupt feds cannot justify under Congress’s constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers, then the states would find a lot of new revenues to give jobs to former federal workers.

“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Remember in November !

Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for making America great again for everybody, but will also put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional inteference in state affairs.

Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.

Well, they may leave now, or find themselves as part of a much wider RIF action later on. This way, they may protect most of their pension benefits, and can righteously complain about Trump later. As Federal Employees, they could not be allowed to take a partisan position, and under the Hatch Act, they would lose many of those same retirement benefits.
