According to the WaPo and New Yorker, with the word “apparently” being thrown around a lot. What a load of drivel.

Comey has enough on Obama and Lynch to protect him and his job.
To: BlackFemaleArmyCaptain
It would be incredibly stupid of them make Comey a martyr. They wouldn’t be so thick as to make him a symbol for us to rally round, would they? They wouldn’t do that.

Read that first sentence.
“According to TWO HILLARY-SLOBBERING MEDIA OUTLETS.....”, Comey is a rogue! Oh noes!
What crap. But I guess this is the meme they’ll run with. Comey was their hero when he was part of the cover-up. Now, well hell, he’s on Trump’s payroll, he’s probably working with the Russians, etc. Good gawd, what a bunch of filthy liars!

Looks to me like the presstitute who wrote this swill is trying to convince Obama to do something.

This is a much hotter situation for the Obama/Clinton advocates than for us. They are really on the cusp of implosion into total confusion. One could write a book about the possible fall outs for whatever they do next.
Let us keep our intellectual powder dry for a couple of days, and watch the panic more fully develop.

Yea, but he violated Justice Department procedure the way he handled it the first time.
...not to mention one of the lead investigators being a beneficiary of a very large contribution via the Clinton Foundation.

Comey has done everything to help Clinton. Unrecorded interviews, never empaneling a grand jury, no subpoenas, asking the devices be turned over, an (unheard of) non-prosecution recommendation.
Comey is only doing this now because people under him want to skin him and put his pelt on the wall!

Huma is NOT on Hillarys plane to Florida today! So, she's already fled the country...

For anyone following this saga, Lynch trying to squash this new information just reinforces the view that the Attorney General meeting with Bill Clinton was not a chance meeting. So now the FBI director that Hillary herself repeatedly refer to as her exonerator, is now the problem?
To: JudyinCanada
Normally, what the boss wants, the boss gets. He has some independence, because he can only be impeached convicted, and removed by Congress, or fired by the President for cause. Lynch cannot fire him. She's more like a line supervisor of the FBI Director in that regard.

Exactly. How in the world is covering up facts NOT an action that influences an election?

Expect a cue of women who will now accuse Comey of groping and assault them.
Gotta go by the playbook don’t ya know.

Piss on you, New York Magazine. Maybe one good violation (not prosecuting) deserves another.

They are focused on Comey while and Lynch violated Justice Dept. policy by meeting with Bubba on the Tarmac.

He’s not at-will. 0bama would need to fire him for cause, and I doubt violating a DOJ guideline is enough. Anyway, 0bama is not going to do a Saturday Night Massacre.
