I think Hillary and Humma Wiener were writting to each other via her husbands laptop. My guess is Hillary says things she thinks will never be seen. Things like covverup, murder, criminal behaviour that can’t be over looked.

Unless the FBI is also working on the case, the U.S. Attorney's office must have contacted them with the new information.
My guess is the latter...and now the FBI has no idea how many police detectives, crime lab techs, and prosecutors have seen them...they can no longer cover for HRC without risk.
