Why Trump Will Win
American Thinker ^ | October 27, 2016 | Michael Finch

Donald Trump is going to win on November 8th and the moment when this election turned from seeming defeat to certain victory will be the least expected and one of the most derisively attacked moments of his campaign. During the third debate when Trump said on being asked if he would accept the election results, "I will look at it at the time" the election was his. The uproar on both sides of the political spectrum has been an avalanche of criticism; this was Trump at his worst, the dooming moment of a quixotic and egomaniacal campaign. Or was it?

Decisiveness and boldness don’t always result in a victory on the field of battle but indecisiveness and hesitation, in the moment of crisis, most assuredly will result in inglorious defeat. Trump has been called a lot of things, probably the most flattering among, even his allies, is that he is a good “entertainer.” For political acumen, he might be given a 2, and that would be the score given by his friends. But too many have all missed something that Trump as seen since the beginning.

Trump is reading something different, a mood and frustration in this country that is not just confined to some 32%. The country is heading in the wrong direction, we on the right know that, but in fact, almost 70% of Americans overall sense that. And that is not just an indictment of the Obama years; it is an indictment of the entire bipartisan political class.

This election is not being run for the pundits, the media, the conservative gadflies and hangers on, the consultants and wise thinkers who tut-tut continually on television about how Trump, “just can’t do it this way,” he must pivot and be “presidential” and discuss nothing but the issues.

They refuse to discuss the issues.

Instead, they talk about locker room stuff, binders full of women and scared kids.

What the hell they have to do with the future of the country, no one knows.

Trump has substantiative ideas but no one in the elite wants to talk about them.

No wonder lots of Americans feel Washington is broken.

I believe and hope he is right about that winning moment. Trump showed the media that he would “fight” each and every contested ballot, and that he has the means and the capability to do it.

I just wish Nixon had done it when he had the chance.

Isn't it more like lots of Americans KNOW Washington is broken?

“... it is an indictment of the entire bipartisan political class.”

We do not have a “bipartisan political class”. The uni-party has managed to fool most of us into believing that there were two major parties, but Trump’s campaign has shown that there really is only one.

When this election is over, win or lose, I will be leaving the Republican party.

Nice! A profoundly insightful look at who we are and what we are about. Trump is our General. We will win this battle and go on to win the war to save our nation under God.

The bold, new, unscripted candidate against the old, stale, scripted candidate.

A misleading stat. probably half that 70% figure is the far left, who believe that we haven't gone far enough leftward. They think that Hillary is a centrist.

Everything they say is a lie. Proof? Clinton is making a deal with Liberal Ryan to get his relative on the SCOTUS. That kinda, in a small, infinitesimal, microscopic way, illustrates the evil of the establishment.

Amen.

Watching FOX and seeing the "panel" (Brett Baier, some woman my and I call Fang, and Charles) treat Brunell Donald-Kyei with disdain (Fang made her lack of respect obvious by not watching the monitor while Brunell spoke).

I will be absolutely compelled to do something to vent my distaste for the establishment. I've already decided no more "REPUBLICAN", no more FOX NEWS Shep or Megyn, and now no more tuning in just to see the "panel" (goodbye Steve Hayes *sniff*).

Trump keeps telling us what makes him a man to reckon with - vision and the power of positive thinking. He dreams big, then turns loose his mind to create his vision of the future. Never under estimate the creative power of your mind. His other great attribute is perseverance. Once his objective is set, hell will not stop him from reaching it. He will fight the devil to get there if he has to. You can call it the steamroller effect and it is what reduces his weak spined adversaries to mincemeat. His qualities are the mark of a true leader. To the young in this country, you need to observe this man and emulate those qualities. You only need to look at his kids to see the results.

Yes. That was the universal consensus expressed among FReepers here a few days ago. We have either all left, or are all leaving.

Looks like a set up—A replay of Hanging Chad’s business—to toss it into the Supreme Court (50-50 court) or Congress where Obama/Clinton can push Hillary into the White House and the folks will be told to accept the “Will of the People” and leaan to live with Hillary’s Socialist America. Not to be! We need every vote to conter this take over!
