We’ve made the distinction before, but it bears repeating: There are professional, fair and conscientious news people on Fox News. No one could watch the final debate and deny that Chris Wallace is among the best in the business. Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly have earned their place among top debate moderators and interviewers. What we are about to discuss does not apply to them, but it threatens to diminish the news legitimacy of their employer and depress their own ratings as the Fox News label becomes tarnished.
The degree to which Fox fake-news programming (e.g. Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, “Fox and Friends”) has mainstreamed and defended blatant racism is shocking. Overshadowed by Newt Gingrich’s outburst on Megyn Kelly’s show last night was Sean Hannity’s birther dog-whistle. He directed his rant to President Obama

Jennifer Rubin is a dog who hears dog whistles or at least imagines she does. I never, ever hear these supposed dog whistles from O’Reilly or Hannity.
She accused O’Reilly of “blatant racism” for pointing out that the judge Trump asked to recuse himself “belongs to a group called San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association”.
Ha, ha, ha. You just can’t make this stuff up.
La Raza means “the race”. But pointing this out is racist. Belonging to an organization that calls itself “the race” is apparently not racist to Rubin. It’s not even a dog whistle.
I am SO SICK AND TIRED of liberals. SICK TO DEATH of them. People like Rubin can’t slander conservatives enough. Constantly they call us racists, terrorists, extremists. Yet they are the ones constantly calling for more and more infringement on our liberties. Nothing is ever enough.
They can’t stop with abortion. They have to also be able to kill a baby half way born. They have to deliver them intact and them kill them for their body parts. They have to criminalize real journalism exposing this. They demand government funding of abortion. They demand forcing Christians to participate or lose medical licenses, etc.
They can’t stop with don’t ask, don’t tell and consenting adults in private in their homosexual rights. They have to criminalize speech against it. They have to throw people in jail who refuse to accept it. They have to fine people and shut down their businesses who disagree. They demand to sexually abuse children by not only indoctrinating them with the homosexual agenda at ages that should not even have curiosity about sex.
On multiple occasions, homosexual role models featured in major media news reports glorifying homosexuals adopting children were later discovered to have sexually abused AND tortured these children, and made videos to distribute to their disgusting, pervert friends. The media sweeps these stories under the rug, but the media is GUILTY of causing such children to be tortured and ought to do the world a favor and hang themselves right away. Or just do as Jesus suggested: tie themselves to a millstone and cast themselves into the sea. This is where journalists like Rubin belong.
Got to that line and had to look at where the article originated.
