Federal government employees are opening their wallets to help Hillary Clinton beat Donald Trump on Nov. 8.
Of the roughly $2 million that federal workers from 14 agencies spent on presidential politics by the end of September, about $1.9 million, or 95 percent, went to the Democratic nominee’s campaign, according to an analysis by The Hill.
ADVERTISEMENT Employees at all the agencies analyzed, without exception, are sending their campaign contributions overwhelmingly to Clinton over her Republican counterpart. Several agencies, such as the State Department, which Clinton once led, saw more than 99 percent of contributions going to Clinton.

I guess. They get paid big bucks to do nothing in gov. and get better benefits for sure. All gov is the same way. Why, when I worked for attorneys, when we wanted information from the courts in new Orleans, we would have to call several times for them to look up the info and it was usually wrong several times.
So, it is “news” that people who work for FedGov will support someone who encourages the bloat of FedGov. Golly, I’m shocked.
That’s why Hillary is going to win Virginia.

On a general note, what does it say about our overall society when the government is so dominated by adherents to a single political party? Add to that fact is the REVEALED behavior of just some of those employees favoring their chosen political party OR hurting the opposition party (Lois Learner at the IRS, FBI Command positions, DoJ rankers etc!) This gives a lie to the concept of EQUITY when dealing with the US Government at any level when and where any tinge of politics might come into play!

I agree with you in principle, but it is not a fact that Lois Lerner, James Comey (FBI command position) and DOJ Rankers are federal employees. They are not. They are obama appointees that will be replaced. And as appointees, they are expected to march to obama’s orders just like we will expect Trump appointees to follow his lead.
But yes, the hired fed employees in certain agencies will definitely feel very insecure when Trump takes over. I’d love to be a fly on an EPA office wall when the news is out that Trump will revoke Nixon’s exec order creating that nightmare.
