A video excerpt from liberal Michael Moore is taking the internet by storm. But it’s not Moore’s loyal fans singing his praises for a passionate political confession – it’s Donald Trump’s supporters who are doing the cheering.
In the speech that was given before an audience in Ohio, reportedly for the film “Trumpland,” Moore delves deep into the mindset of Trump’s appeal.
But first, he shockingly starts out by defending Trump supporters.
“They’re not racists or rednecks, they’re actually pretty decent people. So, after talking to a number of them, I sort of wanted to sort of write this.”
Moore went on to read a piece where he shares what he believes is the momentum behind the Trump movement. He recounts Trump’s visit to Detroit, where he had talked of the city’s dismal economy and it apparently left a deep impression on Moore.
Donald Trump came to the Detroit Economic Club and stood there in front of the Ford Motor executives and said: if you close these factories, as you are planning to do in Detroit, and rebuild them in Mexico, I am going to put a 35% tariff on those cars when you send them back and nobody’s going to buy them.
It was an amazing thing to see.
No politician — Republican or Democrat — had ever said anything like that to these executives. It was music to the ears of people in Michigan and Ohio and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The Brexit states. You live here in Ohio. You know what I am talking about.
Moore went on to talk of the forgotten man, who works hard — if he or she is lucky enough to have a job — and continually gets screwed by the very representatives who are supposed to have their backs.

He just attacked Trump and his supporters, so I don’t trust him. Do we want to quote a guy who said that a mosque should be built on the site of the WTC?

It bothers me people are excited by this bit of comment from Moore. Yes it sounds great for Trump but Moore’s heart and vote are not in sync with it, so anyone excitedly thinking Moore has seen the light or this helps Trump is sorely mistaken - It’s just some of Moore’s words taken out of full context. Same thing FRs don’t like when Dems do to Trump or others we like.

BS, it’s not extremely anti-Trump. Moore simply goes on to say he thinks the voters will regret it, pure speculation. However moore told it like it is regarding why voters will vote for Trump and why trump will win.
Nothing moore did was covert, secret or mysterious. He simply told it like it is.

We need to watch carefully. I think we’re going to see an act of God in a couple of weeks. It isn’t about Michael Moore or even, in a way, about Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. It’s about God.

My take on MM:
His big fat ego is feeling the hurt from O’Keefe and wikileaks. I think he is trying to pull something over on Trump supporters and to “price” that he’s still the king of gotcha documentaries.
