Slick Willy made a quick, last minute visit to AZ(Phx area) on Halloween 1996, 4 days before election day. Me and my buddies heckled the crap out of him.
His visit may have given him the state, barely, the only time* AZ has gone Dem since Truman in 1948.
The asterisk is for the fact that without Perot in the race that year Dole would have won AZ so I still say the streak is alive...and proud of it!

My thoughts exactly. She’s campaigning in blue areas in battleground or blue states. She’s still trying to motivate her base. That is not the strategy of someone well ahead in national polls.
