Pardon any possible ignorance here, but is there any way after the fact to check and see who you voted for?
The video screens apparently confirm in a small display most folks don’t notice at the bottom.
Not just at the polling station, but after the election. I should be able to verify that my vote was in fact registered to me in the way that I voted. Or is that too much to ask for the most technologically advanced nation in history?
where I vote here in Missouri we use a black marker to note our choices, then it gets scanned into a black box when we drop the paper into it. How do I know my vote isn’t being switched right there?

Voted here in Texas yesterday.
They gave us a smart card with a chip (looks like a credit card).
You stick it in the machine and then go through the menu to vote.
If you vote a straight Republican ticket the machine puts a video X in the boxes for all the Republicans.
After the procedure you have a review screen that allows you to submit the results that you verified.
I verified my results many times before hitting the submit button.
Liked seeing that X next to the Trump/Pence box.
There are complaints from all over that with certain electronic voting machines (probably the ones owned by the George Soros company, or the ones services by SEIU) no matter what you click, it automatically defaults to the Democrat. They are calibrated that way. This has been an ongoing complaint against these machines for at least two general election cycles. The fact is, Democrats CANNOT win without voter fraud. They know it, and we know it.

Yup.
I don’t think so. But the best way to register people to vote to avoid ALL fraud is through fingerprints. Why is that racist? One vote a fingerprint. no felons, illegals or corpses allowed. Perhaps through fingerprints they can also log the individual’s vote. There HAS to be a better way......
It previews your responses on the screen to check and see if it was what you checked...You correct errors and if it still doesn’t record correctly...
you then need to call someone over to correct mistakes if possible and pull the machine if not..
And ONE, STANDARD method.
My, and the talking people were really angry with Donald not long ago about his bringing up the overall integrity of the election and the possibility of voter fraud. He’s being proven correct (yet again) big time.
That's what I am wondering.
We have the electronic voting and fill out the form and mark the ballot with a black mark and then feed it into the machine.
It doesn't advertise what you voted, just that the ballot was successfully cast.
Maybe these jokers can stop only caring about these damn machines only when they go to vote!
What were these people doing the past 4 years?
I’m glad my town uses only paper ballots and ink pens.
