THey’re smart enough to not put it in emails but corporate HR people do the same thing. I had one give me a stack of resumes one time only to get an email a half-hour later wanting me to return them because she’d inadvertently given me “the wrong pile”. I hadn’t even looked at them yet, but I did so in a hurry - they were all white males and most looked to be qualified. I started making calls right away. She really was pissed and even admitted that I was going to “mess up her EEO points”.
