With the presidential election set to enter its final two weeks, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump find themselves in a near dead heat at 41% each in a four-way race, the latest IBD/TIPP presidential tracking poll shows.

Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson edged up to 8% from 7%, while the Green Party's Jill Stein rebounded to 4% from 3%.

Can't emphasize it enough: Regardless of good or bad news and polls, the most important thing is to actually cast a vote for Trump.

It comes down to enthusiasm and how many dimoKKKRAT crossovers there are. Also a lot of new people this election. This election is not like 2012.

I agree. The Dems will probably be at most +1 to +3 in the overall turnout. Will be curious to see how many Dems cross over and vote for Trump especially in the Rust Belt states.

I just ran this headline through my truth translator, and it came back with:

`Data Suggests Looming Trump Landslide. Media Outlets Rush to Save Face`.

Did anyone else get the same result?

I dare not think of Clinton in heat - but I could think of Clinton as dead.

it bugs me when they don’t tally up to 100% and it’s not explained with the meat of numbers info. maybe it’s later in the article but I’m not clicking.

That will not be allowed to happen. Democrat poll counters will take notice of the democrats voters that do turn up, and will assume that all dems intended to vote for Hillary. Only republicans can cross over, and poll workers/poll counters, will insure that at least 5% of republican votes are counted as Hillary's.

IDB is honest on Mars, Jupiter, or Saturn? Really!

November 8 will be proof.

There have been close to 40 polls done so far this month. Three of them, including this one, have shown Trump up or tied.

What does this tell you? They are outliers. Remember the shock on Romney’s face around 9pm on election night 2012? Remember the shock on so many of our faces? It’s because we pinned our hopes on statistical outliers and didn’t read the real data.

What is the real data saying? Trump isn’t up 2 like Rasmussen says and Clinton isn’t up 12 like ABC says. She is up what the average of the other 30 polls say, roughly 5 to 7 points.

Clinton will win by about 7 points, maybe more. She’ll win 300+ electoral votes and if things get crazy, could start pushing 400.

Sorry folks, this is what the data are saying. Look at my posts from 2012, I know what I’m talking about.

We will lose the Senate narrowly but retain the house by 12 or more seats. That’s where the real power is so relax, the Republic will be fine.
