He was headquartered in the town I grew up in, Chino, California.

He and those popes would agree, as C. S. Lewis depicted in his book “The Great Divorce”: “We’ve all been wrong! Now it is the time to start living.”

I remember those, somebody would always strategically leave one lying on the sink of a public bathroom.

Hopefully it was used as toilet paper.

I hope he had the opportunity to repent. Some of his stuff was OK, some of it was stupid, and some of it was libelous.

Bewitched was inspired by the 1942 Veronica Lake vehicle ‘I Married a Witch’ (itself based on an earlier novel) and the 1958 film version of John Van Druten’s 1950 play ‘Bell Book and Candle’ with James Stewart and Kim Novak.

Oh.....so they're ALL going to Hell!

Christianity is about extending love and forgiveness. I think Catholics should forgive him, just has he has accepted forgiveness from Christ for the things in life he got wrong. We all see darkly through a glass, and boy, does that ever become clear in the next life.

All saved believers are still subject to a final square-up with the Lord. Won’t call this a purgatory, because the bible doesn’t. But the work is not finished until “the day of Christ Jesus.”

The more I progress in belief, the more tolerant (in one sense) I get towards the Christian oddballs. That doesn’t mean I won’t tell them off when I think the Lord wants it, but it doesn’t mean every single solitary disagreement means “You’re destined to end up in hell.” People destined for salvation can undertake hellish paths on earth and it will ultimately be a lesson unto them and a demonstration unto heaven.

Wonder what Jack Chick will be thinking in Heaven when he’s surrounded by a few hundred Popes?

Just not the ones who believed in salvation through membership in Mother Church.

Heh.

I’d have to despair at some of the wickedness I’ve seen in churches if I could not believe “Jesus can forgive even that.” The unforgivable sin is to refuse to believe, not to have some wrong beliefs along with the right ones. I see things in my life that would not make sense if it were not God at the helm rather than me.

These are “Jesus-and” belief situations. If an actual salvation occurred, before the belief became “Jesus-and” it was, at least for a moment, simply “Jesus.” Which counted for eternity.

This happens to people in the Protestant as well as the Catholic denomination churches, never fear... and I’ve been there and done that.

Which reminds me of the tract about Halloween. Spoiler alert: its evil. You will apparently go to hell for getting fun size snickers from your next door neighbor.

“He did not think much of Catholics”. A MAJOR understatement. Being a Catholic, he offended me greatly. Just an opinion from a Catholic Freeper.
