When I was a kid I was taught that one of the great things about being an American is our rugged individualism, and that each individual can be anything they want to be, depending on their own actions. The socialists and victimologists (I think I just made up that word) have done everything to suppress that.
Why not the whole country? With that attitude, they’ll get it sooner or later.

Actually, the Spanish drove the Muslims out CENTURIES AFTER they “settled in”. The Spanish of the day recognized that was the ONLY way to end Muslim occupation. It worked out well for the Spanish.
That’s the point. It took hundreds of years to drive them out in 1492, and again the remainder in 1611.
