Victory in sight, Clinton still grapples with negative views [barf]

Hillary Clinton bested Donald Trump in three debates. She leads in many preference polls of the most competitive states. Barring a significant shift in the next two weeks, she is in a strong position to become the first woman elected U.S. president.

But Clinton will end the campaign still struggling to change the minds of millions of voters who don’t think well of her, a glaring liability should the Democratic nominee move on to the White House.

While many see her as better prepared to be commander in chief than Trump, she is consistently viewed unfavorably by more than half of the country. Most voters also consider her dishonest.

Clinton’s advisers have spent months trying to erase that perception. They’ve set up small events where she had more intimate conversations with voters. They’ve tested a seemingly endless stream of messages aimed at assuring the public that the former secretary of state was in the race to do more than fulfill her own political ambitions. …

Well if yard signs are any indication, I just drove the length of Ohio and Trump yard signs out number Clinton signage 20 to 1. A very liberal former neighbor in Cleveland said his brother, who usually votes Democrat, is a Trump supporter.

Hillary Clinton bested Donald Trump in three debates.

Stopped reading right there. She did NOT "best" him in all three debates.

The AP raises a good question. How can she govern our country IF NOBODY VOTED FOR HER?

If Hillary was gonna win, it would be obvious.

Interesting why MSM is just now bringing up the fact most people intensely dislike her.

I thought she was Joan Of Arc and Florence Nightingale wrapped up in one?

What the heck happened on the way to her coronation ball?

The first sentence of the article fully discredits the rest of the article.

Just like Ortega in Nicaragua. Elected with 34% of the vote in a 3-way race because less Marxist candidates would neither drop out, he then took control of their Supreme Court who changed the laws to allow him to be President (read “dictator”) for life.

Even the Sandinista’s hate him because he has shown all he wanted was power, and he was not committed to the communist way.

Hillary will do the same. She won’t care.

If elected, maybe her health won’t last. But then we are stuck with the Marxist Kaine.

Majority of yard signs here are Trump too. I saw a total of two Clinton signs thus far.

I live south of St. Louis and I’ve seen a fair number of downticket Democratic candidate signs, but absolutely no Clinton signs. I was beginning to wonder if they just don’t sell them here.

On the other hand, I see Trump signs everywhere I go. Lots of chatter that union folks are going Trump, too. If Hillary wins, there may in fact be a lot of people asking who the hell voted for her.

If the beest wins she will continue to be loathed. That could change only if she turns out not to be the dishonest, corrupt, greedy, elitist be-othch she has proven to be for the last 30 years.
