Poll: Paul Ryan's Approval Collapses, More GOP Voters Say Trump
Townhall.com ^ | 10/21/16 | Matt Vespa

Justin wrote about the hostile reception to Speaker Of The House Paul Ryan from Trump supporters at a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Chants of “Paul Ryan sucks” were shouted, but is this an isolated incident? That is, is this just a representation of Trump supporters from the local area? No—not really. The latest polling shows that support for Ryan has collapsed, sinking 28 points…in a week. The YouGov poll had some interesting points concerning Ryan, Trump, and the brewing tensions that seem bound to erupt in civil war once this election is over.

Allahpundit noted that Ryan is experiencing the Ted Cruz treatment from his own side by refusing to campaign with Trump, though he hasn’t yanked his endorsement, which rightfully leaves some people wondering why this late in the game would anyone just stop supporting Trump. For starters, the Access Hollywood tape isn’t a deal breaker with many Republican voters, but it is one with almost a quarter of independents, who Trump needs to win over in order to win this election. Another interesting find in the crosstabs about Ryan is that most Republicans, despite their increasing dislike of him, view him as the leader of the GOP, not Trump:

So....support for Paul Ryan has fallen 28%, yet most Republican voters still view him as the leader of their party?

Does Matt Vespa honestly believe those two realities can simultaneously exist in the same universe?

Ryan is such a WEASEL!

He knows how IMPORTANT this Election is so it should be a no brainer that he gives 1000% of his support to TRUMP to win this!

Instead this IDIOT keeps undermining TRUMP at every step!!!

>>They had their chance to vote him out and they blew it<<

As did AZ voters had the opportunity to “Cantor” John McCain, but noooo! They just couldn't come on in for the big win against the establishment.

Interesting note however, not sure what the what up is on this, but the polls showed both McCain and Ryan collapsing during the primaries to what seemed to be great primary challengers. The challengers lost by BIG margins.

???

We will walk with Trump through the gates of Hell

The problem that the MSM fails to realize, but apparently Brazile and Podesta do, is that we have been walking through the gates of hell for a decade or more.

Trump has endorsed two candidate,Ryan and McCain.Very bad choices

Yes, but they stabbed him in the back. It was a great move. He flushed them out early. "Trump you need to be loyal to the party." "Well, I am loyal." "Yeah, fooled you. We are not."

GREAT writing!!! that is exactly how I feel...

Ryan and the bunch, hitched themselves to the wrong wagon... they made a bet early on and bet on the wrong horse...
They do not know us, nor do they know the pulse of the nation They believe we are few and the wagon the hitched to would be the winning wagon...

Sorry, ryan.. you lose in every category... whether we win this election or not, you have been exposed and all of you are on a time frame of getting you all out! You bring hillary down on us and you will see a revolt you did not expect. A revolt of the deplorables ...

I would not EVER accept an election of this kind that resulted in a hillary president.. NEVER!

Trump is the best bet around and we are going to win this!!

That guy Nehlen was a jerk unfortunately, spending lots of time ripping Mark Levin. Still, I’d never vote for the fraud Ryan.
MEA CULPA: I was one of the fools excited when Milt selected him. The guy had me totally BS’d.

Ho hum, so what, as long as his home district keeps reelecting him. Like Boehner, who is going to challenge his speakership?

If Trump does win, they could go head-to-head and that could get interesting.

Ryan’s staffer, whose last name is Senor, has been rumoured to be behind the Bush-Trump Octopussy tape leak. And he is also married to Campbell Brown of NBC News — and Campbell used to “date” (ahem) a Saudi Billionaire, according to Deb Schlussel (archived Sep 03, 2008 article and links therein).

Because an enemy is preferable to a traitor. Especially a back bencher enemy against a speaker of the house in a position to block the efforts of dear leader.

When Trump’s elected he’ll need a Republican Congress. Vote straight ticket.

If Hillary’s elected all bets are off... we vote OUT of office every RINO we can identify. Ryans at the top of that list.

Paul Ryan reminds me of the ugly old man in Braveheart who sold the interests of his countrymen for his own benefit. I’d post a side by side pic of the two but don’t have time.

With all the evidence of election rigging going on, I don’t believe he won.

McCain’s victory should be investigated as well.

The votes can be easily flipped with those Soros machines.

There’s just no way that Mccain and Ryan won by large margins the way they did.

It is a difficult thing for a politician when they cannot determine which way the wind is blowing

Ryan is sitting on both sides of the fence like many of the Lyndsey Graham RINOs do. The scumbag thinks that if Hillary wins, he can still work with the traitors. If Trump wins, then he can salvage that too.

But Trump is going to have investigations and these traitors like Ryan are going to be exposed. My dream scenario is that documents are found on Ryan, Graham, McKain and others that show payments to them. And enough to put them in jail right along side the Demorats like Hillary, Bill Clinton, Hussein Obama and Soros. And Donna Brazzile, there's a cell waiting for you in Alcatraz which could be reopened to hold the traitors.

I'd love to read how Obama tried to swim for the Golden Gate on an escape and didn't make it.

If Hillary’s elected all bets are off...

If Hillary is "elected" it means there was massive election fraud. The traitorous felon couldn't be elected dog catcher without JFK style election fraud on steroids.

The majority of Americans think she should have been indicted.

http://www.mrctv.org/blog/obama-speaks-rigged-elections-2008

“Barack Obama in 2008 warning about voter fraud and suggesting Republicans could try to sway the election in their favor.

“Well, I tell you what it helps in Ohio, that we got Democrats in charge of the machines,” Obama said regarding the threat of election-rigging.

He continued, “Whenever people are in power, they have this tendency to try to tilt things in their direction. That’s why we’ve got to have, I believe, a voting rights division in the Justice Department that is nonpartisan, and that is serious about investigating cases of voter fraud.”

“That’s why we need paper trails on these new electronic machines so that you actually have something that you can hang on to after you’ve punched that letter—make sure it hasn’t been hacked into,” he added, admitting that even Democrats have “monkeyed around” with election results:

“I want to be honest, it’s not as if it’s just Republicans who have monkeyed around with elections in the past. Sometimes, Democrats have, too.”

“It is a difficult thing for a politician when they cannot determine which way the wind is blowing”

Indeed. Witness the witless GOP candidate for Senate in Colorado, Daryl Glenn. In an hour he’ll be visiting nearby and I’m going to go down and ask him his stance on Trump, and if he’s still anti-Trump, I’m going to ask him for my donation back, as it was solicited under false pretenses.
