According to the latest reports coming out of Colorado, marijuana is a major cause of homicides in the state, and the problem is only getting worse.
"There is increased crime, sometimes violent crime, associated with legalization of marijuana," Brauchler said. "That's not what you'd expect. You'd expect the harder-core drugs." ... "If cash is the only way to acquire marijuana, crime follows cash," Brauchler said ... Brauchler believes the legalization of marijuana is partly to blame for the rise in crime. "It is easier for there to be black market in a legalized system than there was before," he said.
This all wasn't supposed to happen. The pot legalization advocates told us that legalized marijuana would reduce crime and effectively eliminate the black market. Now we have experienced and respected prosecutors saying they are seeing, firsthand, the exact opposite.

Ah the fallacies keep on coming. If you bothered to educate yourself on the issue you would know that using cannabis as medicine doesn’t = sitting around stoned.
I haven’t felt “stoned” for months when I use cannabis. Your body builds up a tolerance so that to actually get stoned, you need to use more cannabis. Since I’ve never wanted to be high but just to feel better my dosage of cannabis has & will remain very small. The body builds up a tolerance as it does will many medicines. As a result I never get “stoned” when I take my medicine and I still enjoy all the medicinal benefits. I work 5-7 days a week & never take my medicine till AFTER working. I did the same with pharmaceutical medicines when I used them. You know, like a responsible, productive person does.
So much for your “sitting around stoned all day” nonsense.

And to answer your question about attending Mass after using cannabis. As I clearly shared earlier, I take my medicine in the late afternoon or evening. Not before Mass, save for the rare evening on a Day of Obligation when that’s the only time I can get to Mass. Before using cannabis as medicine starting in February of 2015 I took prescribed, mood altering pharmaceutical medications before attending Mass. You think that was bad form also?

Left unsaid in all of these stories is the past history of mental illness by the perp, but the pot angle is always played up. Note: pot does not make normal people homicidal or suicidal.
My friend gave me a packet of gummi-edibles, and warned me about their strength.
I ended up eating 6 of them in an hour. They just made me tired. I did not kill anyone. I gardened.
I oppose gummi-edibles, as they are attractive to children. Pot edibles should be made to taste like broccoli!
