As has been noted up-thread, the real objective is not to switch Hillary voters to Trump voters.

The objective is to reduce enthusiasm of Hillary voters so more stay home, while increasing enthusiasm of Trump-leaners so more come out and vote.

About 40% of registered voters stay home. Get enough of them to come out and vote for Trump, and he wins no matter what the polls say.
