Al Yankovic is a freaking genius. Besides “Amish Paradise,” my two favorites are “White And Nerdy” (a brilliant cameo in there), and the epic “The Saga Begins.”

Funny thing yesterday...I was listening to, I think, Howie Carr, when some bumper music came on. My daughter gave me a puzzled look and said “Don’t I know this?” I said “Like a Surgeon.” She is 9 and had never heard the actual Madonna song and was confused when she finally did, lol!
My kids are very well versed in Weird Al, however! I’m sure they’ll only love him more once they leave the nest and get familiar with all the originals. :)
