The Russian aircraft carrier fleet is on its way to pass through the English Channel on its way to join Bashar al-Assad's bombing campaign in Syrian city Aleppo, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed. The eight-strong flotilla, led by the Admiral Kuzentsov, has completed training its pilots for bombing missions while it has been tracked by the Royal Navy's HMS Richmond and several NATO vessels. And Vladimir Putin's admirals are keen to ramp up the pressure on Britain's warships by calling in extra assets from the Mediterranean in a mission dubbed 'Operation Sea Fist' by the Russian media. A MOD spokesman said: 'It is pretty unambiguous that they have set a course to pass through the Dover Strait.'

Some people in England can see the Russian fleet from their house.
Another Clinton irony, if we are nuked by the Russians, chances are the bomb’s uranium came from the USA.
PR stunt.
They would be blown out of the water otherwise....
The British navy is a joke. Good only in comparison to the Peruvian navy.
You can tell that “Dover” was stuck in there to be provocative.
Killary’s Russian “Reset” reset the Russian Power Projection back to 1979!
“Another Clinton irony, if we are nuked by the Russians, chances are the bombs uranium came from the USA.”
And the money Killary got from from selling the uranium probably helped build her a cushy and posh fallout shelter. Wonder if she’ll invite all her mindless followers into the shelter to save them? After all, she’s fighting for them, truly gives a rats about them and really, really loves them. Pffft!
Russia has always been a warlike power. In this case they are making a provocative act and betting no one will challenge them considering America has a communist in the White House. It was not always like this. Remember that.
Nukes are what prevents that.
More and more every day I really despise the invention of nuclear weapons.
I’d rather have a world where battleships were the ultimate weapon.
To a certain extent, the Russians are basically Vikings crossed with Mongols.
So, yeah, they have a tendency to solve problems by smashing things.
Just like Trump has been saying, we make the stupidest deals that always hurt us. Unfortunately this one could be devastating.
“Eee-mer-gen-see, Eee-mer-gen-see, everybody to get from street.”
Love, Ivan
It’s tiny compared to an American battle group. The carrier only carries 15 planes and has been beset with powerplant issues. The destroyers are the most impressive part of the group.
The Russian Navy looks to be readying for a serious mission while the U.S. Navy is preoccupied with social experiments, political correctness, and sensitivity training.
Putin is clearly taking a stand in Syria and he knows that Backdown Barky will retreat when push comes to shove.
What irony!
Many years ago Lenin said “The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them.” This is just a 21st century version of that.
Russia is not interested in invading us or western Europe (nothing really to be gained and a whole lot to lose). However they ARE interested in regaining superpower status and taking back their old vassal states they feel the west essentially stole from them when the Soviet Union fell. That is what all this provocation is about, make the US and UK fear that Putin is seriously considering a nuclear conflict and World War III. Then when Putin invades Ukraine or the Balkans, the West, instead of countering him, rushes to appease him instead to calm tensions and prevent an all out world war.
Id rather have a world where battleships were the ultimate weapon.
The last battleship vs. battleship battle was in 1944, the Battle of Leyte Gulf. My grandfather (RIP) was there.

Russians can see NATO tanks from across their borders now. What does the West expect the reaction will be?
