CNN Host Tries to Burn Trump, Thinks Members of Congress Already Have Term Limits

As part of a new policy to “drain the swamp” in Washington, D.C., Trump announced Tuesday he would push for a constitutional amendment as president to impose term limits on all members of Congress.

“Correct me, there already are term limits, so what does he mean?” Baldwin skeptically asked reporter Dana Bash.

Indeed, Baldwin had to be corrected. Bash did so politely.

I listened to a guy...parroting the line that Congress "term limits" themselves....According top him...there's a 30-40% turn over in Congress every year.

I don't know if his numbers are right,,or not.

The problem is..the Congressman that are there for 20-30-40 years...Because THEY are in control. THEY tell the newbies what to do..and how to do it.

There may well be a big 40% or so turnover....

But THAT doesn't matter....if 40-50-60% of those in Congress have been there...20-30-40 years...and are pulling the strings.
