Texas looks like a battleground as Clinton pulls within 3 points of Trump: Poll (utter BS)
CNBC ^

Hillary Clinton has pulled within 3 percentage points of Donald Trump in the traditionally Republican stronghold of Texas, according to a poll released Tuesday from the University of Houston.

In a four-way poll of registered voters, Trump garnered a weighted 41 percent support and Clinton drew 38 percent — with a 3 point margin of error. Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson had 4 percent support and Green Party nominee Jill Stein saw 1 percent.

Other recent Texas surveys have shown Clinton pulling closer to Trump: A recent SurveyMonkey poll even showed a two-point race in the state.

I’m waiting for confirmation from Gov. Wendy Davis

I saw an earlier article -- apparently someone asked her about it.

She laughed. She thinks it's as absurd as we think.

Anyone that really thinks Texas votes for Clinton is a complete fool. Same people that though Wendy Davis was going to win.

This election season is really a gut check. There is no doubt some poll rigging going on, the 2-day post pussy video NBC poll comes to mind. However, they all showed him rising before the video. We’re they not rigging them then?

I want to remain positive, but hanging my hat on that presupposition that Trump is about even or ahead if not for pollsters putting their thumbs in the scales is really thin gruel.

The LAT poll seems like it’d be harder to rig since it’s a rolling average of an enormous data set and they called the spread perfectly in 2012. However, the others (besides RAS and ABC) are really unnerving.

Here’s hoping Trump knocks it out of the park tomorrow night. He needs to know all the wiki revelations backwards and forwards because, for a large chunk of the audience, he’s effectively going to be a news anchor.

Polling Texas is like polling a large country.

Hello the Ras poll is a dead heat ,
The two are tied so what .

It's the year 2000 redo all over again .

I would not trust anything from ABC with Georgie Steppy running the news room..
He was in charge of the Clinton campaign smear tactics and donated 150,000 to the Clifton crime family Slush fund !

We are in the age of Huge Corporate Media monsters like Comcast NBC and Disney ABC and Time Warner - CNN wanting mass globalization and trump is there enemy .

They want TPP passed and the US destroyed .

It looks like the polls that get reported are the outliers, the ones that give the most surprising results.

Some day, Texas will turn Democrat, but it won't be this year.

Well, the Mexicans are being imported by the thousands every day in Texas to do the voting that those with a conscience can’t do.

Excellent. I have relatives in Youngstown and Pittsburgh and they all have indicated they are supporting Trump. They are Union Democrat types. Very encouraging!

Yes! Yes! Hillary should pull all of her resources out of piddly little states like NV, CO, VA, and PA and should concentrate it all on Texas. It will be much simpler and more efficient for her that way and when win she wins big Texas’ 38 electoral votes she won’t need to worry about the little states.

***********

Possible but not for a while yet depending upon the influx from south of the border. Remember
Texas voted Democrat since it’s inception excluding the Civil war time until Reagan in 1980.

Might not be BS. Voter ID is not permitted in Texas per a federal judge.

I noticed CNN reported this as “likely voters” but CNBC reported this as “registered voters”. I smell a ‘Rat.

No way is Trump losing Texas, even with all the Bush and Cruz fans out there.
