I spent this past weekend around the south side of Chicago. Did not see any Hilary signs, and only a small number of Trump signs. Was surprised to not see any H signs, since that was her hometown, but even more surprising was that there were VERY VERY few political signs of any kind. Driving around up there, it was nearly impossible to tell that it was election season at all.
This is truly bizarre. I thought it was local but you are confirming that it is national. Not sure what to make of this.
Last weekend, I was in Little Berkeley, Charlottesville, VA. What a liberal cesspool. I saw my first and only signs for Clinton. Most were on state property and very few were at houses. I suspect a few true believers put them all out. At the Farmers market, there were two of the usual suspects trying to hand out Clinton signs. I only saw one girl take one.
Here support is very weak.
BTW, there was a decent amount of Trump signs. On the mall, they have a “free speech” wall. It’s a huge chalkboard. Kind of cool. Some Microaggressor beat me to it and wrote TRUMP 2016 on the concrete. I suspect the police were called.
