Is poll-leading Hillary Clinton the Ghost Candidate? (can't draw crowds or sell merchandise)
American Thinker ^ | October 18, 2016 | Joseph Smith

Posted on 10/18/2016 4:16:52 AM PDT by NYer

Hillary Clinton is all but measuring the drapes for the Oval Office, but some things in this campaign don't add up:

Trump supporter Wayne Allen Root paints Hillary Clinton as the political equivalent of the "ghost cities" of China that no one lives in:

This reminds me of Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. She exists, but are there any real people behind her? Are you certain anyone is voting for her?

While Trump rallies are "once-in-a-lifetime experiences ... like Woodstock for working-class conservatives," Hillary is lucky to draw 200 people.

No one buys Hillary's books or campaign gear, either.  Root tells of a friend who found only Hillary gear at the airport gift shop and, on inquiring, was told that the Trump hats and shirts that come in twice a week are sold out "within hours."

Hillary's gear? They can't give it away.

... This doesn't appear odd to you? Hillary is leading in the polls, but no one attends her rallies, no one buys her books and no one buys her merchandise[.] ... She is a candidate whose own supporters don't like her.

... Hillary is the "Ghost Candidate."

V.P. candidate Tim Kaine is equally uninspiring, drawing just fifty people to a rally last Friday in Miami.  Mr. Kaine spoke from the back of a pickup truck with a street-art poster for a back drop, and the estimate of fifty attendees appears to include organizers, a few photographers, and at least two children well under voting age.

Yet Mr. Kaine may be one dizzy spell from the Oval Office.

Question for all. Here in upstate NY, political signs traditionally cover lawns promoting various candidates. This year, I have seen only a handful, all of them read TRUMP. It’s absolutely eerie to drive around the Capitol District and not see lawn signs before an election. Hillary Clinton is a former NYS Senator - yet there are no signs with her name.

I’m glad the polls appear to be neck-and-neck.

Does Soros own the machines in enough states that she can win? Would it not be fitting if she were to lose and win only in the states where Soros can help her?

My South Virginia county is almost 40% black.

We have very competitive debates, usually republican but by close margins.

Obama signs were proud and common.

Hillary — not a SINGLE sign along those very same roads.

Not one sign.

I don’t even know who the [d] House candidate is in this district.

It is possible to quickly rig a vote-counting computer:

Hacking Democracy - The Hack

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3481345/posts

This is the hack that proved America’s elections can be stolen using a few lines of computer code. The ‘Hursti Hack’ in this video is an excerpt from the feature length Emmy-nominated documentary ‘Hacking Democracy’. The hack of the Diebold voting system in Leon County, Florida, is real. It was verified by computer scientists at UC Berkeley.

Very hard to offset the 4 borough’s liberals.

I’m from Staten Island and mailed my absentee in already.

Man takes extreme measures following stolen Trump signs

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3481291/posts

‘Another man boobie-trapped his sign with electrical fence wire.’

[We also came up with ‘skunk oil’ traps, poison ivy, etc.]

I spent this past weekend around the south side of Chicago. Did not see any Hilary signs, and only a small number of Trump signs. Was surprised to not see any H signs, since that was her hometown, but even more surprising was that there were VERY VERY few political signs of any kind. Driving around up there, it was nearly impossible to tell that it was election season at all.

That Kaine ‘rally’ is astonishing. I’d expect a rally for “The Rent’s Too Damn High Party” to draw a bigger crowd.

Is Tim Kaine homosexual?

It’s true. Here in the Balt/Washington corridor, between the two beltways and in each city, I can literally count on my two hands the number of Hillary stickers I’ve seen on cars and signs by row houses. Actually I’ve only seen one of those. But I’ve seen like 5 Trump lawn signs. No bumper stickers though.

To put this in perspective, in both 2008 and 2012, virtually every car around here had an Obama sticker, the signs were everywhere and not one McCain or Romney sticker or sign.

I haven’t seen any Trump stickers and only a few signs but again this is Baltimore and Washington DC we’re talking about here. The danged Obama signs and stickers were everywhere! But Hillary?

I thought I’d see more as Nov 8 approaches but nope.

It’s indicative of some serious lack of enthusiasm in one of the bastions of leftism in the country. I’m not sure how well it bodes for Trump, as I haven’t seen many of his signs either, but I really don’t think too many are excited about Hillary around here. In Baltimore/Washington. Amazing!

YES!!!

This is truly bizarre. I thought it was local but you are confirming that it is national. Not sure what to make of this.

Is there any mechanism to audit the machines on election day or before election day? They have settings where they can weight a vote for a candidate, its very easy to tweak these things, all electronic voting devices should be banned nationwide.

We should have paper ballots and viewing areas to witness the ballot counting and ballot security with the final tally posted so it can be verified with the tally reported up the chain.

I’ve seen more Bernie stickers here than Hillary ones.

Nov 8 will indeed be an interesting night.

That’s true too very little signage in general. Very weird. It’s like the whole country is sick of the whole thing.

Well, plenty of people I have seen are not enthusiastic about Hillary, they just hate Trump more. Hopefully, they aren’t all that many. I personally, do not like Trump, but I don’t see either candidate as a saint either, I just think he would be someone who would veto bills when neccessary.

Since polls and MSM tell us it is over and Hillary has won, I hope liberals don’t feel the need to vote on November 8! Just let them stay home.
