On October 16, a North Carolina headquarters of the Republican Party was firebombed , and an abhorrent threat was painted on its outside wall
As Democrats, we are starting this campaign to enable the Orange County, North Carolina Republican office to re-open as soon as possible.
Until an investigation is undertaken, we cannot know who did this or why. No matter the result, this is not how Americans resolve their differences. We talk, we argue, sometimes we march, and most of all we vote. We do not resort to violence by individuals or by mobs.
So, let's all pitch in , no matter what your party affiliation, in and get that office open again quickly.

Less than 40 mins after going public, we met our goal and then some! Thank you all for showing that Americans are thirsty for civility and decency, and that we love our democracy above all our differences.

It is a move to blunt the bad P.R. this will bring. No one thinks Hillary’s campaign was behind the firebombing, but we all know most Dem activists would love to be able to do it and get away with it.

The Dems are doing what they do best. Getting *other* people to donate so they get the credit. They’re not dipping into their own pockets.

Wire “bugs” in every square foot are being placed in that office by Dem “helpers”.

Now this office has been compromised, I’m sure the nice sweet helpful dems bugged the office.
In the world of optics this is VERY smart and runs a counter narrative (even thought we see right through it)to IMO the stupid comments my candidate Trump fired off. I am with Newt on Trump. There is Big Donald with the amazing ideas and the leadership and the fighting spirit and then there is Little Trump and the pety crap that just does NOT need to be said to fight back and win. His ego gets in the way. He just cant help himself. Okay, flame away!
They know that one of their supporters went too far and they don't want to be publicly associated with that.

Newt did say that, I saw the interview, and he’s probably right. I’ve been a solid Trump fan from day one, but at the same time, I have to admit he’s said and done things I sure wish he hadn’t. Newt’s “big Donald little Trump” analogy hits pretty close to home.
I have to give credit to the Democrats for taking the high road, but most of you are probably right, it’s only a smoke screen.
