That's the theory I am advancing. If in theory, the foundation had been put into a trust, and she had no part in running it, it would be difficult suing her if the actions she took were done as SOS. However, if she can be shown to have had an ongoing participation in running the foundation, she would not have an immunity from a lawsuit, and if one were filed and was successful, assets of the foundation could be seized, since the foundation does not come under the umbrella of her official duties as SOS. Hopefully, a legal expert will weigh in on this.
