“I’m starting to think about this morality stuff,” Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin said as he began his radio show Monday night. “Everything we do should involve morality … but let me ask you a question: If you were alive during George Washington’s times, would you have voted for George Washington?”
Levin then went on to list the moral failings of past politicians from the slave-owning founders, to the adulterous John F. Kennedy, to Bill Clinton himself, and so on.
“I’m not defending Donald Trump,” Levin exclaimed. “I’m trying to understand hypocrisy.” Referring to the Republican lawmakers that have since dropped their support for Donald Trump following the release of a 2005 video where Trump makes lewd remarks about women.
Levin never gave approval to what Trump said in the 2005 audio tape, in fact, he called it “disgusting” and “pathetic.” But he made clear he did not intend to join the “RINOs” who are using it as an excuse for pulling their support.
At the close of the clip, Levin declared, “It is NOT the moral and principled thing to do to stand down in this election ... It is NOT the conservative thing to do to stand down in this election.”

I think he and Rush suddenly realized that Hillary along with a left wing congress may just bring back the fairness doctrine. A come to Jesus moment so to speak.
No ratings of his have been released lately, and his contract renewal came before he attacked Trump.

Evidently Mark thinks this election is about Trump.
The GOP thought Trump was just a joke. The various state parties were more than happy to just take his money while thinking his run would amount to nothing. But Trumnp came out and said what patriotic Americans were thinking and now this election is about patriotic Americans vs a corrupt, criminal government.

Look I’m completely voting for the guy but only to ensure Hildebeast doesn’t get in. But no far from a GOP voter. I agree with what you say however all of us have voted GOP to keep the other out since beyond Reagan. You raise an excellent point. I am truly hoping that he means what he says but that doesn’t mean we don’t raise strong objections when he strays from conservatism at the price of getting more votes

ratings!? Hardly...they signed him in for another 9 years most recently.
Not recently and that was way before he endorsed Cruz and went “Never Trump” and threated Corey Lewandowski. Levin signs extention in February 11th and went Never Trump April 8th and before he threatened Trump’s campaign manger. Up until the beginning of March he was for Trump or Cruz and said if anyone tried to take it away from either of them he would leave the Republican party. Show was very good up until then. Then Trump starting eliminating all of the competition and Levin got greedy and went Never Trump. The show went downhill at that point. Now it is coming back. His ratings probably are still good, but in the most interesting election of our lifetime, they probably could be better.

I’ve been listing to Mark for quite some time, still do for about an hour a day.. he has finally come around to urging people to vote for Trump, SOLELY as a vehicle to stop Hillary.. he still bashes him at every change he gets... he still disgusts me, but not as much as Johah Goldberg, John Podhoretz, Bill Kristol, Erick Erickson, Beck, and the other NeverTrump vermin.
Levin tries to join the party in the last 10 minutes of it.

Trump did not announce this at a board meeting, at church, or in a press conference.
It was guy to guy bluster.
