HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A Connecticut judge has dismissed a lawsuit by Newtown families against the maker of the rifle used in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, saying federal law shields gun manufacturers from most lawsuits over criminal use of their products.
Superior Court Judge Barbara Bellis on Friday granted a motion by Madison, North Carolina-based Remington Arms to strike the lawsuit by the families of nine children and adults killed and a teacher who survived the 2012 attack. A gunman killed 20 children and six adults at the school with an AR-15-style rifle.

I was just being your Sandy Hook resident representative.
It’s not really a big deal to me. Just saying there’s odd stuff that is real and I suppose if you’re wanting to find a conspiracy then the least bit of odd stuff can be convincing.
The problem I have with the conspiracy people is that while their selected questions may have some sort of substance to them it’s their conclusions I can’t wrap my head around.
It’s like 2+2+3 x 4 = 867,350,998,234.0023266627 with them.

Another friend’s son hid in a closet for hours until they found him.
Hours? When they cleared the school within minutes.
I live in Newtown and my wife and I know families that were affected. Those who say that Newtown was faked and a government conspiracy are crackpots.
That said. I'm glad the lawsuit failed. The gunmaker was not responsible. It's like suing Ford or Nissan for a drunk driving death. Nonsense.
For the most part, Newtown is a pretty conservative town. Lot of Trump supporters here. I hope that Trump carries Fairfield County and the state on November 8th.

Ever heard of fast and furious? Where the executive branch intentionally allowed guns to be trafficked to known drug cartel members, then used that evidence to promote gun control?

Actually, I did not buy into any “theory”. I simply did my own independent research, and none of the evidence I see remotely indicates that the official narrative is believable.
What is the difference between a “fraudulent conspiracy theory” and a “legitimate conspiracy theory”?
Given the stakes involved, the folks who are here defending the official SH narrative should use much stronger verbage. How about “double bad fraudulent bat$hit-crazy kitten-killing conspiracy theory”?

Yeah, I don’t know how something like that would even make it into evidence if it ever came to trial. I am not an attorney, but given some exposure to rules of evidence, I cannot imagine any serious attorney filing suit without getting such details straight. But this “omission” would be perfectly consistent with the official story of the event.

You believe the nutcase who killed those children
at Sandy Hook/Newtown was somehow “staged”
THEN:
You are, indeed and undoubtedly, a fruitcake
and you should be banned from Free Republic.
That is equally as insane as those who think
the World Trade Center attack was a government conspiracy
and you have no place here.

I know individual that were “affected”, also: those who heard the official narrative, and were predisposed to gun control, lobbied for gun bans. Folks who are subject to the gun bans in various jurisdictions were affected.

Was Fast and Furious an intentional trafficking of weapons to criminals, sanctioned by the executive branch, and was it used to promote gun control?
