The question is whether it was also "bolster" al-Qaeda linked jihadists whom the US has been supporting for the past several months as a result of the perverse merger of "moderate" rebel forces in Syria.

How big a war do they need to distract from the coming email releases?

Are they hoping that all the copies stored around the world get nuked?

Obama had also better consider if Russia might go much furtrher than Syria in any counter strike. The US government is deranged in its endless pursuit of “victory” in Syria; and that victory is defined as getting rid of Assad and replacing him with a Muslim Brotherhood or other terrorist Islamist government. Assad is bad, all other alternatives are worse. This is the next chapter of the US engineered Arab Spring that has brought us the present Libyan failed state, an attempt to radicalize Egypt, the disaster in Iraq, and now Syria. The death toll and the length of the Syrian civil wear has been so much worse because of US intervention. Add to that the Obama surrender to Iran and the table is set for a vast Islamic disaster that will spread far beyond the Middle East.

I think you are right. Trump has positioned himself as the anti-war candidate. Not afraid of war, or unwilling to fight, but anti-senseless war, where we have little to gain.

War makes Hillary the war candidate, and represents a failure of the State Department.

The last however many years have involved us blowing up middle east countries for the sake of NATO and/or the UN. I just see it as more of the same. With Obama/Clinton, it is mostly airstrikes to blow up people as a way of saying that hardly any soldiers are in danger of death.

What is our pressing national interest in Yemen that we want to fight there?

Same as with Syria: We are the puppets of Saudi Arabia. They paid us (our politicians, anyway), and they want service in exchange for their money. Simple as that.

My decision is No, No, with a No chaser. Crazy people killing each other on the other side of the world is not worth risking WW3.

Build the wall. Stay out of other peoples business.

Go for it.

Only reason he wants a war is to distract from his and h-ILL-Liar-y’s crimes.

Decide Friday On Military Action In Syria

Isn’t that the job of Congress?
