“You’re delusional.”

Yes, but it is entertaining!

Seriously, though, everyone I know in that areas says Trump has massive NYC support.

Lived in Cali for 15 months, I would expect nothing less than what you say, unless you were out in the ranching and agricultural areas..

Although I find it interesting folks outraged by Trump’s boorish talk, frankly that entire few sentences is nowhere near to close what I have heard in such situations... are women really that naive that they don’t think men will be men behind closed doors?

Hell, I’ve heard far far worse from WOMEN when they forgot I was in the room. Women outraged that guys engage in locker room talk amuse me, honestly. I’ve been the only guy in more than a few situations where I’ve seen groups of women go down in the gutter in ways that would make sailors blush.

Just because some guy makes some off color bragging and joking behind closed doors does not mean he’s a predator or advocates the things they say. I would love to sit them down and tell them, honestly, there hasn’t likely been a man in your life, including your husband and your sons who hasn’t engaged in or said things far far worse than Trump’s little tape in their lives.

I am not saying it makes it right, but it is reality and its states how ridiculous our nation has become, that women honestly believe men don’t ever act like men, and get outraged when they see an example of it.

Tell them to go read wikileaks, you want to be truly scared for the future of this country, read the podesta dumps this week, and you will see how low on the concern list bawdy language really is.

Hey, I apologize. I didn’t mean that to be rude. I’d love to be wrong but I just don’t see the momentum for that at all. I mean, if that happens, we have Trump winning a Reaganesque landslide.

If THAT happens, it’ll shock everybody.

td, thanks for this thread!

As you know, I posted the following yesterday. I think it’s appropriate for this thread as well:

Yup, IMO there are a Tremendous number of closet Trump voters out there. I have heard people say that they haven’t decided yet, or that they don’t like either candidate. Again, in my opinion a lot of these people are going to vote for DJT and may not admit it even after the election. They don’t want to take abuse from their liberal friends and don’t want to have their cars, and/or property damaged by liberals so they have no signage. Here in the Northeast, I see almost zero bumper stickers, or lawn signs for either candidate. As I stated, I know why there are none for DJT. That there are none for Hilliary tells me there is no enthusiasm for her. In fact, I see more Obama/Biden stickers left over from 2012 than anything else. Keep the faith everyone and don’t believe the polls!!

I had a hay delivery yesterday. 2 trucks & 2 trailers were here-—1056 bales total at about 100 # each ——I was the 3rd person to get hay out of 5 of us in close proximity. All one trip.

Both the drivers were adamant that they want Trump.

These are hard working men in the agricultural world. The drought for 4 years has hurt us all, but these guys hunt & belong to a large gun club. We all live rural and we know it can take 20 minutes or more for a deputy to show up——even IF we can call one. We all have guns & we know how to use them. No Shrillary for any of the 6 of us who were here. 2 neighbors had never seen the large Roadrunner Squeeze work before & they were entranced by the skill of the operator—moving bales from the ruck bed to my pallets.

The latest person to comment on Trump was a man in a booth at McDonalds who saw me move from a table near a TV which had Hillery going full throat. He looked up and laughed and said he had also moved. He said we were in deep trouble if things did not change and I said Trump would make that happen. Kindred spirits. This type of thing plus the pickups with Trump stickers and often Confederate flags tells me more about public pro Trump support than biased polls trying to influence the voting to the corrupt Clinton backers. GO TRUMP1

Norwalk, CT
36.4% registered Democrat
19.3% registered Republican
Has voted overwhelmingly Democrat since the Reagan years.

Virtually no presidential yard signs or bumper stickers spotted in recent travels. Plenty of signs for local races. Whatever their choice, people are playing it close to the vest.

I’m hoping and praying that there is a Nixonesque “Silent Majority” that is going to rise up and put Trump over the top, that Bernie voters will switch or stay home, that Trump can get 15% of the black vote, that blue collar union Democrats will go Trump, that the black turnout will be nowhere near what it was for Obama, that the Millennials will be disillusioned or uninterested and stay home.

But what I fear is that all the anecdotal evidence we see is not necessarily anecdotal, that the majority of real people we encounter will support Trump over Hillary, but that the rats can still win by turning out the votes of people we don’t see. I don’t mean pure fraud, dead people, or illegals. I fear the Democrat machine that is this very day collecting ballots in the inner city, the old folks homes, the union workplaces and banking those votes now. I fear the machine that goes door to door to shut-ins and helps them fill out their ballot and collects it for them all this month. I fear the machine that works the college campuses collecting votes from the brainwashed and banking them early. If this were an election of who shows up election day and votes Trump wins easily, but it is not. It is important that Trump backers drag friends to the polls, help the shut-ins they know vote trump before the rat machine gets to them. Trump people need to go to the nursing home to help their relatives vote and while theye are there ask around to see who else needs help voting for trump. We need to let our college age kids know that not voting for Trump is not an option if they want help from mom and dad. We need to be clear and vocal to everyone we know that we are voting for Trump and that is OK for anyone to do that despite the shaming from the media. It is not a fair fight but it can be won.

I stay out of New Haven proper, but they are all over the surrounding towns, and I have only seen one single Killary yard sign in the last 4 weeks. Hundreds of TRUMP signs.

Thanks. I have a history here like you do and I remember 2012 too well. Were were told Romney had a chance in PA and several other states; Rasmussen had him up +1, etc. I also remember everyone believing "unskewed polls" which turned out to be a laughable joke.

I won't fall for it this time. I am relying on facts and best data I can.

I too am worried about the dem voting fraud machine. Its won too many times.

Tuesday, at 2 PM, 30,000 showed up to see Trump in Panama City Beach, Florida. Bay County has a slight Republican advantage but the surrounding counties have Democrat majority registrations. That tells me that NW Florida will continue to support Donald Trump!

I have seen exactly one Hillary bumper sticker, no yard signs.

I have seen at least half a dozen Trump stickers on cars (the small-ish oval ones) and three yard signs.

Nowhere near the amount of signs and stickers of the last election.

Hispanic customers tell me they will NEVER vote for Hillary. One gentleman of Mexican decent went on for several minutes about how illegals are costing him money because they do jobs cheaper and how we have to send each and every illegal back and how Trump has it right with his wall.

That’s, call it, 55% registered party affiliated voters.

Does that mean Norwalk, CT really has 45% indies/other affiliation? The majority are indies?

One point about Minneapolis, I live in Keith Ellison’s district. My DFL State Rep, and Senate Candidate are basically running unapposed. There is really no chance of Republicans taking any office in the northern portion of the 5th congrssional districts. We really have no opposition to the DFL down ballot. Trump supporters here will vote, but will anyone bother to show up just for Mrs. Clinton? Why bother when they are sure she will win and there is nothing else on the ballot to fight for. I don’t expect a high DFL turnout in Columbia Heights, Fridley, St Anthony, and Brooklyn Center. These are big DFL vote areas for state wide elections. These are the folks who put up big numbers for Dayton. I don’t think they will show up in big numbers for Clinton.

Minnesota may be decided on the iron range this time. Will they show? And for whom?
