Trump made it pretty clear he's not after Assad. If we form some kind of temporary alliance with Russia and Turkey and possibly Iran we can deal with ISIS without regular ground troops.
Of course special forces: green baret, seals, delta, etc —all would be used.
ETL is very concerned about that kind of plan — Russia wants to dominate Europe's energy and Iran's Quds force is part of Russia's coalition against ISIS.
But we certainly don't want to fight everyone at the same time, and Europe's refugee threat is more urgent than its current energy dependence.
Russia wants to restore their evil empire and then-some with control of the Middle East.

What bothered me was the idea that Hillary was making the day to day decisions like the leader of ISIS.
When folks make claims up like that, they just destroy their credibility, and if they claim to be a Conservative making that claim, it tarnishes our movement as well.

It’s also easy to read one’s assumptions into things.
Hillary did arm ISIS and did take bribes from ISIS backers Qatar and the Saudis. That’s damning enough IMHO.
I believe that Hillary along with McCain encouraged the arming and funding of al Qaeda. Both of them prevailed on Obama to fund al Qaeda/the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria. Obama did so. He armed and funded al Qaeda there.
It has been my assumption for some time that this sparked the ISIS explosion in the region. That seems to be pretty well accepted these days.
This doesn’t make Obama, Clinton, or McCain the planners of a new group called ISIS, or the day to day planers of ISIS activity. To claim that is just not intellectually sound. That is why I spoke up.
As for Saudi Arabia donating to the Clinton Charity Fund, she is clearly a crook. That doesn’t mean that she took the money because they supported ISIS. She took the money because she’s a very corrupt person doing very illegal things for profit.
Look, she’s as vile a person as we have seen in the public arena in this nation’s history. I want people to know that, and accept that. When folks start charging her with being the leader of ISIS, the actual criminality of Clinton recedes back into the woodwork, and that isn’t a good thing for our cause.
She needs to be seen as the world class incompetent and criminal she is. That’s all.
By buying off on more than is true, some folks on our side actually hurt our cause. They get real things dismissed along with the untrue things.

When Hillary and McCain (and proably Lindsey Graham too) promoted the arming of Islamists in Syria, I opposed it. I did so because I was fairly sure there would be Muslim Brother hood involvement. At that time it wasn’t on my radar that al Qaeda would be involved as well.
Since that time we have found out that al Qaeda was involved, and I believe McCain mentioned “good al Qaeda” or something like that subsequently.
At the inception of the advocacy, ISIS hadn’t been identified and made public yet. These idiots knowingly supplied ISIS with weapons is not reasoned to me. How do you knowingly supply ISIS with funding and weapons before it has even been identified?
ISIS popped up even more quickly than the Muslim Brotherhood, which came out of nowhere in a matter of months. ISIS was identified and given credit for things in what seemed like weeks.
There’s a very strong likelihood that this happened because we armed and funded them by accident. What’s also strange is that Obama and the press recognized the new group and seemed to almost lend it credibility right out of the box.
While they did reference it in a sinister way, it was still strange to me to see them glom onto the name ISIS and run with it as if it had been around for decades. Still seems odd to me.
Hillary was exceptionally misguided when she suggested we arm Islamic people in Syria. First of all, Syria had been low on Russia’s radar for a long time. Russia wouldn’t be there now except for Clinton, McCain, (Graham), and Obama.
We had terribly inept people in positions of power. They should be addressed and shamed for exactly that.
Assange (sp?) isn’t perfect. I think he means well, but some of his readings of what this all means can be off base, and I think here he has shown that.
I do think a case can be made they knowingly armed al Qaeda. It’s a stretch to say they knowingly armed ISIS.
And it’s just crazy talk to say that Hillary was making the decisions for ISIS.
When will they reveal Hillary was complicit with 9-11?

I set up a column for tax issues and code it so that there is a running tally all year.

Anytime! I used to write my own programs to prepare tax returns & keep track of my bank account activities. So I understand your efforts to develop your own system. Now, I just buy the tax software each year.
I just plug in my figures. I didn’t mean to imply I have created my own tax return software.
There’s too much to know to do that. It changes and what you knew last year doesn’t apply this year, and who knows about next year.
