I hope Trump wins, but I am looking at the Real Clear Politics polls and it doesn’t look promising. Trump is 6 to 10 points behind. We only have four weeks.

I remember when the polls showed Romney was behind and we all hoped it wasn’t accurate. It turned out almost exactly right.

How can he win when he is so far down and many of his own party leaders have abandoned him?

Romney was not Trump. Clinton is not Obama.

Party leaders? What party leaders? The likes of Ryan? McCain? You mean the globalists.

Trump is not Romney. His supporters are far more energized.

And the polls that had Romney behind were generally in the range of D+4. And we all thought it would be closer to E to D+2 (that was the reskew deal).

The polls at RCP range are averaging around D+7-8. Obama in 2008 got a D+7 turnout on a change election. Not happening with Hillary in 2016. I think it will be a D+2 or so and Trump wins.

Sod off, troll-boy. Trump is ahead, or Hillary wouldn't have demanded the plane take off immediately after the debate so she could start drinking...and then hold her first rally in Dearbornistan Detroit, talking to the black women about Michele Obama...

And she wouldn't have roped BILL *and* Obama *and* Al Gore into all campaigning for her at the same time -- with Gore on open mic begging the youth not to vote for Johnson since Nader cost him 90,000 votes in Florida and with it, the election.

Romney isn't remotely a comparison, the polls ALL are lying, and Trump's WAY ahead in reality.

I think that about covers it.

The LA Times / USC poll was the most accurate in 2012.

Just before the election, they had Obama winning by 2.6 points. He won by 3 point something.

On Monday, Trump was ahead in this poll 3.1, down to 2.0 on Tuesday.

Not perfect, but better than the cooked NBC poll.

I remember when the polls showed Romney was behind and we all hoped it wasn’t accurate. It turned out almost exactly right.

Two things: 1. It's a swing state thing. 2. The 0bama plan was to cheat in the swing states.

3. Trump isn't Mitt, as we saw before the debate, and as Trump led Bill's victims into the debate on Sunday. :)

The polls were up to 10 points off, skewed in favor of Democrats, in 2014.

And, let's see what the polls are like post-debate. Most of the existing polls reflect only the fallout from the tape.

Yes, I remember all that talk back in 2012 about unskewed polls. I believe for 2016 the pollsters are using 2008 or 2012 turnout models. I truly believe that things are different this time for the following reasons:

-Hillary does not have the number of enthusiastic supporters that Obama had
-On the other hand, there is greater enthusiasm for Trump than for McCain or Romney

Those two reasons are why I believe the polls that are using the previous models are inaccurate. I personally know four people who usually vote Dem (3 black, 1 white) that will be voting Trump.

....
Why so weak minded?...do some critical thinking. Polls are run by the establishment and how the questions are asked can be manipulated. Do Trump supporters hang up on pollsters? I do.

Challenge the premise.

You used to think Fox news was balanced. How did that turn out?

You wrote “I hope Trump wins, but I am looking at the Real Clear Politics polls and it doesn’t look promising. Trump is 6 to 10 points behind.”

How do you know he’s 6-10 points behind. How do they know it too? How does anyone in the slanted “survey” business know anything?

Stop and think: Has any poll come to YOU and asked your opinion? I would say safely that most conservative voters have NEVER been approached by these “so called” survey agencies. They wallow in good feeding grounds like government, scholastic, educational and college areas, large special interest groups like all “man hating” organizations like women’s groups, ethnic hate societies against the “white devils” and demented sexual orientation focused groups. They don’t survey the standard hard working American voter who is paying dearly in both money and freedoms to support their liberal causes. DON’T BELIEVE FOR A MINUTE THAT THE MINISTRY OF PROPAGANDA DOES NOT EXIST!

Have they asked you about your choice? Have they asked even a tiny number of those on this forum? Have they asked anyone you know of who they will be supporting? I think if we truly are included in conservative circles the answer will be a resounding NO!

This has been covered in other posts. Don’t believe the polls. Why? You simply can’t poll EVERYONE. When someone takes a poll, they ASSUME the slice of people they’ve talked to are representative of a much larger group...but there’s no possible way that is truly accurate. Not only that, but many people (especially Trump supporters) keep their opinions to themselves UNTIL they cast their ballot.

I believe that there’s a vast majority out there who will make their voice heard in no uncertain terms on November 8th. And those who THINK they know because of “what the polls say” are going to be in for a shock.

Keep a positive outlook! (And I’m saying that as much to myself as to anyone else.)

Yeah I keep mentioning that website as well. This is a website that is taking into account polls from all across the country in every state and she is absolutely slaughtering him when it comes to potential electoral votes. She has 260 and he has 165. Last week she was at 200 so we can see the damage that leaked tape has done. What ticks me off is Clintons sexual assault victims were brought out and the media completely ignored it. The media in this country can go F itself in the worst way, words according to them is way way worse than actual rape and sexual assault not to mention threatening these victims as Hillary as done. I had a woman respond to a post I made on Facebook yesterday about this, and she had no idea about Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey or the 12 year old Hillary defended and that is directly because of our MEDIA which I like to call “The Hillary Propaganda Machine” because that’s all it is. It’s like we have the media of North Korea. It is heavily censored to boost the image of a CRIMINAL. If Trump loses it will be DIRECTLY because of them and I will boycott them for life. I will only get my news from now on from the Foreign press. I won’t even clink on a link on Freep that leads to a MSM website. Everyone else should do the same, send their ratings and ad sales to the bottom.

“How can he win when he is so far down and many of his own party leaders have abandoned him?”

Wow, reads like you are giving up & crawling into the shadows to tremble & die. After all the face polling through the primaries till now that have been proven time & again to be bogus you post this? “Many” of the GOPe “party leaders” are the same globalist hacks who LOST to Trump in the primaries. If you’re going to spread FUD at least be intelligent about it. Sheesh.

Vote Trump 2016

IMO, half of that is tantruming GOP never Trumpers. If Trump can get them back onside he will be fine. That is why he is putting the heat on Punk Ryan now.

The media is all in to push Hillary across the finish line. They will do anything, including trying to suppress enthusiasm and morale of Trump voters.

Ignore the polls and the media and vote and make sure everyone you know (that will vote for Trump) get to the polls.

I’ve got to agree. Especially with all the early voting - this is where most of the fraud occurs. Recent reports have democrats filling the toilet with tons of absentee and early ballots. Democrat boiler-rooms are working overtime casting ballots for the millions of non-existent or dead voters who democrat judges have forbidden to be removed from registries.

“How can he win when he is so far down and many of his own party leaders have abandoned him?”

He’s only that far down if the enthusiasm levels for the Dems end up at Obama levels and for Trump stay at Romney’s levels, because that is the prejudice built into the polls.

Anyone can see that Republican enthusiasm levels are much higher while Democrat levels are much lower.

How many others like me are disgusted with the media and polling organizations that they give false results when polled?

I’ve done it three times in the past few months and hope it skews the polling data.
