I would say this....if Trump does lose (I wouldn’t bet on it), then somewhere between a quarter to half of the people who voted....won’t support Republicans any longer. It’ll split the party entirely. These are people who won’t believe or trust in the system....if this were to occur.
Frankly, I’m to the point where I consider all of this just fake acting and a soap opera at present.
Limbaugh has been working his inner-hooker for over a year. He’s working both sides of then street and still losing customers.
Rush has always said that his object is to capture and hold an audience as large as possible for as long as possible so that he can charge confiscatory advertising rates. He has never stuck his neck out and never will.
I do not watch Fox any more at all except for Hannity’s show.

If that is what you think, you haven’t been listening. We don’t have to agree with Rush 100% to believe he is nobody’s stooge.
I fear that Rush is now an Establishment stooge.

Oh it’s definitely what I, and I have listened to Rush since 1992, and I quit this year, because he’s a GOP stooge.

Has Limbaugh taken this treacherous snake party to task over anything? Nope.

Rush Limbaugh is the old OReilly.
He is a master of omission.
And he is also a master at talking for 3 hours and saying absolutely nothing.
I really don’t have enough time left in my life to waste listening to him.
Ryan turned uniparty a long time ago.
That is why. He wants to save the uniparty.
Trump is the first massive blow to purge the uniparty.
We will start clearing our side. They will have to jump ship and go full democrat. They will feel better about embracing their inner socialist suck as “D’s” anyway.
Stopped listening years ago when I determined I was far more conservative than he is. I credit him for getting me to think about things logically when I first listened to him in 1990 through school.
I don’t make a living off my conservatism. I don’t have sponsors and I don’t have to watch my words as much.
He also lost his edge a long time ago. I remember him back in 1990 and for a few years more when he was first nationalized, he had some bite to him if he wanted.
I wonder how much changed after life got really comfortable, and especially after his first chief of staff passed away, Kit Carson.

I also credit him for the time I spent listening to him back in the 90’s.
He also got me to think about things in a more logical manner, which is something, because I am sort of a chaotic minded type of person.
I will also say that his program laid the foundation for my conservative outlook. I’ve listened to a great, great many Limbaugh shows, and I’d say those earlier years were quite a bit better than what he is currently doing.
Something is off with him though. I don’t think one can be a conservative and not be just completely disgusted with the GOP at this point, and I do not get that from him at all. Seems like he is just fine with the GOP, and that is a big turn off for me.

He is no longer on the cutting edge, and he hasn’t been there for some time.
Seems like he’s been phoning it in for a good while now.
I think perhaps after fighting hard for awhile, and he gets older, they lose their edge.
They don’t groom up replacements. Possibly overstay a welcome.
May just be part of the typical getting old process.
Personally I just don’t think many folks have the internal fortitude of a Charleton Heston, or Ted Nugent, or Chuck Norris, or a Clint Eastwood.
Like so many people who come from humble beginnings, then rise to great fame and fortune, Limbaugh has gradually lost touch with the common man.
He lives in a rareified world of personal luxury and security, unknown to people like us. No matter what happens on the political stage, his nest is safe and feathered with down. Always will be.
I think it’s all become an intellectual exercise for Rush. Its why he seems unperturbed by events that raise the hackles on the rest of us. I think it’s also why he’s sometimes more interested in issues like ‘deflategate’, when far more pressing things are rattling the people’s nerves.
Notice that he’s not doing a thing to step up and take a bigger (and riskier) role in the nation’s affairs. Glenn Beck may be a nut, but he has stepped outside his personal bubble and put it all on the line, many times. Can’t say the same for Rush, who’s steadfastly remained in his ivory tower, pontificating from on high.
