Have you listened to Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman or Chelsea Handler lately? Their vulgarity surpasses any male comedian’s act. Even Betty White has gone blue. This is what modern comedy is. Have you watched the modern “roasts” and compared them to the old Dean Martin ones? Trump’s language could only shock someone who’s been under a rock for 20 years.
I was sitting next to Don Trump at that time.
I get to call him Don : )
You bet. If he hadn't been born a Bush and rich, he'd have settled into his true calling: an assistant manager at Denny's.
Anyone knowing the setup on the scene; talking on the bus ride to a soap opera studio reality show-style, then the crew let off so they could record Trump and Billy getting off the bus, and then Bush and Trump saying something provocative during a mundane moment; such a situation and script seems exactly like the fake spontaneity seen on any reality show.
Note that the “Nancy” (O’Dell) being drooled over has never said Trump hit on her way back when, or at any other time. Probably because the whole scene was reality show shtick.
Miked up and doing a lengthy bit for Access Hollywood hardly qualifies as private or “without his knowledge”. How dumb do you think Trump is?
As if the law matters anymore...
The question really is how dumb do we think you are. If you think that Trump meant the comments to be heard by anyone other than Billy Bush and make it on TV... then I would guess the consensus would be that you are pretty darned dumb.
Note that Nancy O’Dell does not confirm Trump’s story about her.
Watch the tape and note the reality-show timing of exactly when Trump made the comment:
...In 2005, when Mr. Trump came to Los Angeles for the Emmy Awards — for his nominated show “The Apprentice” — he was also invited to spend a day as a soap opera star on “Days of Our Lives.”
Access Hollywood’s former anchor, Billy Bush, picked up Mr. Trump in our 10th anniversary bus at the Beverly Hills Hotel. We then brought him to meet up with one of the stars of the soap opera on the then-NBC lot in Burbank, where “Days of Our Lives” is filmed, and Access Hollywood was then-produced.
During the trip to the lot, Bush interviewed Mr. Trump about his role on the soap opera...
...Upon arriving at the NBC Lot, the Access camera crew was let off the bus so they could film Mr. Trump disembarking from the bus and meeting the soap opera star.
Mr. Trump made comments about former Access Hollywood anchor Nancy O’Dell, to Bush...
As much as I hate to admit defeat, I hadn’t actually watched the tape in its entirety and I can now see what you are talking about. But why didn’t Trump say the whole thing was staged?
