This is the problem in a nutshell with the Republican “leaders”. They have no testicles and no intestinal fortitude. Was Trump supposed to cower, apologize, drop out of the race because the MSM propaganda machine of the Democrat National Committee and Hitlery demanded it? MY GOD, I personally have been waiting decades for someone to step up and give better than they receive. I am tired of the “my esteemed colleague” or “my friend from NY” when you KNOW that the Democrat will stab the opponent in the back the second they NEED a bump in the polls. Democrats like ONLY losing Republicans. They can negotiate with the Taliban, N Korea, or Iran, but compromise with a Republican? HELL NO. Well screw them and the donkey they ride in on.
Pat Buchanan was thrown under the bus because he ran against GHW Bush, he was again thrown under the bus when he ran against an incumbent Clinton. The reason? He is not corrupt. This entire election is about corruption. If a politician turns their back on Trump from the R party, odds are they are completely corrupted JMO, but I would bet on it with all I own.

YUP, the Schieffer position is that the woman is “asking for it” if she has any kind of prior connection to the rapist, assailant, etc.

Bob Schieffer has been a nasty, nasty piece of work for years ...... I heard him rip up “W” once in the meanest, vilest terms possible. Regardless of disagreements with “W”, he didn’t deserve what Schieffer did. This little ‘screed’ of his is just further evidence of Schieffer’s despicable covering butt for DemonRat criminals like the Clintons.

Characterizing rape as merely a “relationship” is more offensive than ANYTHING Trump or anyone else has said.

If you read Bob’s own autobiography he identifies as a Democrat.
His wife was an official in the Texas Democrat Party.
Schieffer was a guest of his wife at the 1968 Democrat shindig in Chicago where Bob got to see all the ‘fireworks’.
His brother Tom also Id’s as a Democrat and has been a Democrat candidate for office.
Bob likes to say that he was not a George McGovern type of Democrat, but like all the other media and power people he calls himself by implication a ‘centrist’ just like the Clintons.

There should be a strong campaign for Schieffer’s dismissal.

Don’t we CONSTANTLY hear that when a woman says, “No” that it means, “No,” no matter the nature of the relationship at the time (i.e. first date to married for years)?
Shouldn’t that actually be the case? I believe so - no person should be able to coerce another into any kind of sexual act, no matter the nature of the relationship, and I think that any decent and moral person would agree with me. So why, Bobby, is this different for Bill?
The ONLY reason is the same old reason that gave rise to Trump in the first place: that there are different rules IN REALITY for the rich and powerful, PARTICULARLY the Clintons. To me, this is utterly unacceptable...and Bobby should know that this is how at least 100 million of us (deplorables) feel (I actually believe the number to be much higher).
Schieffer is digging himself into a BIG hole with this line of reasoning...and it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
The tactic worked. It put the focus on the Clinton sex crimes and their cover up..

The most important thing to point out when they chant “Bill isn’t running” in respone to Trump inviting these victims is that Hillary ‘stood by her man’ through all of these accusations and even attacked them since they were in her path to the Presidency.
The only think Bill has to do with this election is that he was the coattails for Hillary to ride to get to where she is today. Oh, and the fact that she has openly said that Bill would be in charge of the economy.
