The source of the leaked material, be it Billy Bush, Wikileaks, Russia or whatever, is not important. It’s the veracity and content of the material that counts.
The candidates are responsible for things they said and did, period. Hillary criticizes the leakers. Makes no difference to me if the stuff is proven to be correct. I don’t think Trump has criticized the sources of his embarrassing leaks unless he thinks the leaks aren’t accurate.

I've got this crazy out-there conspiracy theory hypothesis. Trump last night said "hillary will be in jail" (YEAHHH!!!!) It got me thinking. A whole lot of people from both the GWB and Obama administration are probably guilty of war crimes. Add McCain and some of the other arms-transfer enablers to that. Maybe the reason for the coup attempt is that if Trump gets in office, justice against these civilization-ending wanmongers might occur.
Trump did what had to be done last night. The Deplorables are unified! 'Pubs play along with the coup, and they lose Repulbican base support.
Way too coincidental that he was supposed to campaign with Paul Ryno and Scott Walker and other members of the "NeverTrump" crowd to show unity and the tape allowed them to cancel with the maximum embarrassment to him.

And I am hopeful that Americans saw through the breathless media type speculating Trump quitting the race as last ditch effort to derail Trump.
As it is now, it is much more likely the legion of Hillary allies timed the tape leak to take the new round of WikiLeaks of Hillary dump off the air.
I believe they shot their most damaging stuff.
They were incredibly clumsy in taking him out.
They won’t go further because they’ll be too terrified of Trump to move against him.
Their power in the GOP is on the wane.
The operative phrase that matters is that Trump said the women “LET you” do these things because you are a big star. That means consent, that means the Libscum and Mediascum keep LYING when they assert that the video is describing sexual assault. The video is not a good thing but it is NOT about sexual assault.
