Getting so worked up over something said over a decade ago is laughable. I would like to know how many of these self-righteous GOPe and Never-Trumpers have said similar things in their club house or on the golf course. The same goes for the MSM who are blustering and wringing their hands over nothing. None of these people should be throwing stones...

So although I truly want Trump to prevail and protect our Constitution and our Republic from the horrors of socialism, it's a damn shame the Republican Party -- this Republican Party -- will survive pretty much intact.
Trump’s reactions to all of these attacks are really building my confidence in his ability to be President.
Pence didn't have a choice but to say he was "offended". They have Trump's comments on tape. But there's no evidence that the cancellation was done out of protest over the comments. In fact, I seriously doubt it was. They probably just wanted time to discuss among themselves how to respond to the situation. As if, Hillary, with her physically abusive, sex offender husband, plus her complicit victim bashing, doesn't or shouldn't present her with a much more serious situation.
Trump’s reply might be:
“But I was very young and a Democrat....”

IF Pence said this, he should drop. Trump is the nominee. Period.
Maybe Pence should withdraw if he’s offended. Having to make a choice might clarify things for him.

He did not say No to event, just that he would leave defending Trump’s remarks to Trump who has already apologized. I don’t see a problem here.
