2 points. One Pols are the same media smart people have learned to distrust. 2. Anything official from Catholicism is pro Hillary because of her open borders/Amnesty positions. So in other words this poll is a push poll.

Sorry, but the bias cared will not work. Year after year, survey after survey from multiple researchers testify to Catholics being liberal almost as a majority. And which is reflected in demographic voting, while she treats even proabortion, prosodomite pols as members in life and in death, thus effectually teaching their members how they are to understand RC teaching.

One can understand why Blacks and Hispanics vote for Clinton to keep the welfare goodies, but why would White mainline Protestants and Catholics join the heathen bloc in voting for her?

It follows that the Church is essentially an unequal society, that is, a society comprising two categories of per sons, the Pastors and the flock...the one duty of the multitude is to allow themselves to be led, and, like a docile flock, to follow the Pastors. - VEHEMENTER NOS, an Encyclical of Pope Pius X promulgated on February 11, 1906.

Is the Catholic Church going the way of the ELCA?

I would be curious to know if Trump is doing that little bit better with the Hispanic Catholic vote than McCain or Romney did (as a point of interest)?

2012: "Reuters/Ipsos exit polling found that 51 percent of Catholics favored President Barack Obama, compared with 48 percent for Republican contender Mitt Romney. A report by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life had a similar finding, with 50 percent of Catholics for Obama and 48 percent for Romney, the same as the popular vote in the general population."

Question is, how many Catholics are "shy" Trump voters -- won't even admit to their Priest in Confession that they will vote for Trump?

Trump seems to be doing about as well with evangelicals as any Republican, including Romney. The election will come down to enthusiasm and voter turnput (That's pretty obvious.)

No one is going to vote for this POS Hillary Clinton. They won’t.

That is sadly not true, any more than in the past. As for bias, see post 21.

Not sure and don’t really care. I was Catholic and left the church over the inaction to hold those accountable who committed those crimes. Take your fight and your holier than thou attitude to someone else.

Catholic is catholic. If you change the doctrine of the church, then change the name to democrat or heathens or pagan. smh

This started with this fraud called Vatican II

You are not a Catholic in your heart if you can support someone like Hillary Clinton. Her position on abortion alone is reason enough but there is so much more.

But that is not for you to decide for your church, which treats such liberals as members in life and in death. Even Ratzinger sent a gracious response to a letter from an impenitent Teddy K, thanking Ted for his prayers, and with no known word of rebuke, and who was given a church funeral, thereby showing the public how to understand church teaching.

As a Catholic, feebly attempting to walk the path, I tell other Catholics that they will have to stand before God and defend their lives, their decisions, and their votes. I also tell them you can no longer be a Catholic and a Democrat, only one or the other. (I’m very popular!/s)

I don’t think God will view it as a very strong defense to say: “Sure they were for the murder of the innocent unborn and for wanton immorality, but they stole stuff from others and gave it to me, so I voted for them.”

In 2012, Hispanic Catholics [5% of the electorate] voted 21%/75% Romney/Obama (http://www.pewforum.org/Politics-and-Elections/How-the-Faithful-Voted-2012-Preliminary-Exit-Poll-Analysis.aspx) while as of this summer 76 percent non-white and Hispanic Catholics would pick Clinton, with 13 percent choosing Trump.

It's simple. They cannot take communion until they reconcile this implicit evil with their faith. That's all there is to it, including all of what will follow for them.

But as V2 exampled, church teaching is whatever the current administration interprets it to be, and Scripturally, belief is what you do and effect. (Mt. 7:20; Ja. 2:18) Thus while past teaching unequivocally damned all who did not submit to the pope, or remain in the bosom of Rome, and RC rulers were enjoined to exterminate all the heretics, this is later understood as meaning many evangelicals and other baptized Prots are brothers and sisters, if separated, but not by the sword of men.

Yet both Catholics camps belong to the largest deformation of the NT church.

The Bishops and Priests are now coming out very strong against the Democrat party now. EWTN, the Catholic cable station (huge audience) is now very active in expressing the idea that to vote democrat is literally a sin, which it really is.

Some simply don’t understand our political system and how it works. Many vote their feelings and not their rational intellect. I asked a couple of women who were catechists in our RCIA about why they supported Clinton and Gore, given the pro-abortion beliefs of both. One said that it was the Supreme Court that decided those things. I asked her who nominated judges for the Supreme Court. Got the correct answer, “the President”. Then you could see the scales fall off and a light come on over the head.

If they are not Catholics then they are not Protestants either.

It’s hypocritical to disown them yourself and then demand someone you disagree with to own them. You do not own the vocabulary nor have the right to define terms for anyone else but yourself.

If you have the right to define terms and who’s *Protestant* then likewise we have the right to define who is Catholic. And that is actually a lot easier. For one thing, they self-identify as Catholic and the other is that the Catholic church still treats them as Catholics in good standing.

I worked with and lived next to a great number of very faithful active in their parishes, supporting the church financially and with their presence at mass AS LEAST weekly, Catholics and to a person, they voted democratic.

When asked directly how they could vote for a democrat in light of their stand on abortion and the church teaching about it, their reason? Because democrats are *for the poor*.

Matter of fact, recently I had one of those very faithful Catholic tell me who they were pro-homosexual marriage and how they were pro-abortion with the comment of *I know what the Church teaches but no one has the right to tell a woman what she can do with her own body.* From someone who herself had *6* kids.

You in your own opinion can disown them if you want but unless your comments are coming directly from the Vatican as its official position on these people, then it’s meaningless.

Ironically, Catholics who disown liberal voting Catholics sure quick to remind all those of us who left the Catholic church and became born again/born from above Christians that we are still Catholic because once a Catholic, always a Catholic. Y’all can’t seem to make yup your minds.

So no, we non-Catholics will NOT take the blame you are trying to put on us. Those are YOUR people whom the Catholic church still treats as members by serving them communion, baptizing their children, marrying them, and giving them Catholic funerals and until the Catholic church actually puts itself together and officially acts on what it claims, your opinion is a meaningless waste of bandwidth.
