“I thought, if this was somebody else — if this was a member of your family or a next-door neighbor, a guy at work — you would immediately distance yourself from that person,” Letterman told the Times. “And that’s what I thought would happen. Because if you can do that in a national forum, that says to me that you are a damaged human being. If you can do that, and not apologize, you’re a person to be shunned.”
Letterman also blamed the media’s influence for Trump’s victory in the Republican primaries.

This is the total hypocrisy of the liberal movement in general. They are willing to play the prude when any given conservative or Christian falls from grace, but they openly applaud the sexual exploits of their heroes (the Kennedy clan, Clinton, in Canada Pierre Trudeau, many lesser examples exist).
And then with Trump, when he ran up this record of sexual braggadocio, that was when he was usually identified in public as a liberal Democrat in his political leanings.
Clearly these are not good things in absolute terms, but in relative terms, we can say that almost everyone active in politics or show business probably uses their power and access to their sexual advantage. Is it not already a known fact that David Letterman did so?
