That's just it. JUSTIFIABLE optimism.. not looking at 4 recent polls out of VA that show Trump behind.... then point to a poll of a total of 250 voters, on-line, over 3 weeks, trust this and discount the more topical polls...
If you want to be fair about my posting history, I'm the biggest cheerleader of other polls- the 4 daily tracking polls that ALL show Trump ahead, along with the unbiased poll from Gravis which shows a tie...Conservatives all over- here and elsewhere, thought polls were surely wrong in '12, and some became complacent. If you want hope - join me and others on the daily tracking threads... those are where the hopes should lie... not this trash

As for Nate Silver, he’s a Democratic Party hack masquerading as a disinterested analyst.
He was wrong about 2014, he was wrong about the primaries and he’s wrong about the American people wanting another four more years of Obama.

Once again today, all morning long on the radio news during Rush, the lead story here in AZ is how Trump is slipping in AZ and Clinton is on the upswing.
This has been all over the news for about a week now, and right after Trump was just here for a huge rally.
Arizona is solid for Trump. He’s not ‘slipping’ in the least in AZ.
I’m not saying he is - I’m just saying the supposedly conservative radio station here in Phoenix has a constant mantra of Trump sliding and Clinton gaining ground here.
Add that to Mark Levin, and it makes me wonder about how Trump can be ahead in traditionally battleground states, yet losing it in AZ (or, according to Levin, losing everywhere).
It really makes you wonder what’s really going on there that we don’t know about.
I’d bet $1,000 that Trump wins AZ.
Yet somehow the massively outdated polling method of making voice phone calls to the few people left with landlines, many of whom (including myself) regularly "self-select" to NOT participate by screening w/caller-ID and never picking up on said calls, can be relied upon with a "scientific" margin of error.
These buffoons have no idea how to get accurate polling numbers in this day and age. But, they're quick to dismiss anything that suggests Trump is way farther ahead than the fudged polling numbers that they put out, of course using their more "scientific" polling methods of oversampling the groups they favor, and using outdated communications media.
The economy - needs to hammer this dingbat on the economy.
Her tax plan will croak this country.
So many people I know can not find enough work, they have no savings even working well over 40 hours a week.
What real economic growth has there been the last eight years?
Not to mention the 20 trillion dollar deficit.
