I’m sure Obama and the MSM can convince them it’s Trump’s fault.

The economy is failing them badly. Unless of course, they want to work in part time or minimum wage jobs all their life. They’ll still be paying off student debt when they are 50.

It’s Not the economy. It’s the political system.

Yeah, why don’t we have more jobs for those with gender studies degrees? Why no love for the 16th century French poetry experts?

Go to school for a joke degree, expect to have joke opportunities.

This is the challenge folks. Getting the millennials to understand the stupidity of watching Jon Stewart all those years, buying in to the inclusion/diversity brainwashing learned from K thru 12 thru college, and buying in to the Progressive understanding that government exists to make life better and fix things.

The Millennials and their children will bear the biggest amount of suffering. How do we get it into their heads that they’ve been preached the Big Progressive Lie?

AlGore is on the way to convince them that the issue of their lifetime is actually penguins and polar bears.

"The economy" doesn't fail anyone. That's like saying "biology failed me" because I can't run at a speed of 200 mph.

Maybe lots of other things failed these folks.

Pelosi said Obamacare gives people the option to be an artist or musician instead of working. Maybe it’s not an option for them to be employed or not but Pelosi and the Ds have their back if they can’t find work. If Hillary wins they can keep Obamacare. What more do they want? /s

It’s hard for me to judge what “Millennials” think. Every generation is dumber (or more ignorant).

My family was having a discussion about what “middle class” means today. Interesting perspectives... Consider this, using the mid 80s as the benchmark and geographically for the midwest (because the 90s were way above the average standard of living)

A strong to upper middle class family gross income of about $150K per year.

Gas = $.88/gallon
A new house = $110K
New car = $7,000
Milk = $2.00/gallon

Today! - A strong to upper middle class family is what? $150K/year? Where to the “rich” start.

Gas = $2.30/gallon
A new house = $225K
New Car = $28K
Milk = $3.40

The X-Geners AND Millennials are actually screwed. Money is not what it used to be worth and wages are not keeping up with the costs of living.

Maybe this Gen-Xer is already out of touch.

that poll was probably run in a red state. I don't really believe it. Where I live, the millennials think Obama and our government is doing an excellent job. Those that are out of work (Most of them) either refuse to work or think its still Bush's fault.

Matter of fact I got into an argument with one a week ago, the day SSI checks came out, long line at the TD bank in Portsmouth on Lafyette rd near the homeless shelter, a lot the people in line were homeless, a lot of them scruffy smelly bums getting their SSI. I knew some of them since my wife and I donate to the place and help them get jobs or go someplace else.

Anyway, this bum who I knew there was in line, he's like in his mid twenties and got kicked out last month for being intoxicated and camps out near water country smoking weed and he was telling his buddy that Trump and the republicans were losers because they couldnt find work under Obama. (He works at Labor ready BTW. Gee, what an accomplishment!) He said Obama was doing a good job, the economy is great, only losers couldn't find work so they vote Trump.

I asked him why the same rules don't apply to Bush who during the middle of his reign had lower unemployment than Obama, why people are bad and stupid unemployed under Democrats instead of Republicans and why he was living in a tent working at Labor ready and getting SSI if things are so great under Obama, he told me that it was Bush's fault and that he was fine. Really? I asked, he then told me that he didn't want to work unless he had too. He gets SSI for being Bipolar so he doesn't have to worry he says.

But all the people who lost their jobs under Obama according to him either are stupid or it was because of Bush.

Go figure. I asked him if I could buy him a greyhound ticket to California (and have one less pest in my hometown) he told me no. He owes people money there. Hmmmm.... I wonder who these people could be.

Millennials need to figure out that our economy is built on free market capitalism and individual liberty. Both opposed by the Marxist democrat party.

I have nephews who think the violence in the Mideast is caused by climate change and trickle down means economic injustice.

They have it sdrawkcab as usual. Underemployed Millenials are failing the economy because of their failure of the imagination. What is stopping them from innovating, starting their own businesses, etc.? Answer: Ignorance and sloth. Boundless opportunities await the right combination of genius and effort.

They have to thank their man, Obama for the trajectory. Another term of him channeled through Clinton will be the end for any economy, let alone freedom rights and liberty. Democracy? WILL be gone.

The economy is failing and they will fail the economy if it really does turn up. They are betas- male and female and have not education for anything useful or the drive to make a living.
