The FBI’s Hillary email probe is looking even more like a coverup
New York Post ^ | Sept. 28, 2016 | Paul Sperry

In the latest bombshell from Congress’ probe into what’s looking more and more like an FBI whitewash (or coverup) of criminal behavior by the Democratic nominee and her aides, the Denver-based tech who destroyed subpoenaed emails from Clinton’s server allegedly lied to FBI agents after he got an immunity deal.

That’s normally a felony. As a federal prosecutor, Comey tossed Martha Stewart in jail for it and helped convict Scooter Libby for it as well. Yet the key Clinton witness still maintained his protection from criminal prosecution.

With Comey’s blessing, Obama prosecutors cut the deal with the email administrator, Paul Combetta, in 2015 in exchange for his full cooperation and honest testimony. But the House Judiciary Committee revealed Wednesday that he falsely told agents in a Feb. 18 interview that he had no knowledge that emails he bleached from the server were under congressional orders to be preserved as evidence.

When Trump becomes President, Comey must be brought up for treason. He used his office as a cover up for many felonies created during the email scandal and excused them without regard of the law.

Trump for President.

Comey’s obviously and unapologetically in the bag for hillary.

The agents of the FBI are his willing enablers.

It is a cover up. That was obvious from the beginning.
Prosecuting Hillary! would be a capital-wide disaster.
Prosecution would start with Discovery - and they have to investigate everyone who sent Hillary! an email on her private server - and if they KNEW Hillary had a private server, then THEY would have be prosecuted.
Then there is content of the messages that sent Hillary!. It would reveal the level of corruption pervading DC.
It would wipe out the upper levels of the US Government and most of the Lobbyists in DC.
To me, that would be a feature, but to the corrupt ruling class, it is a disaster.

Comey has an out. He’s the FBI director, not the United States Attorney. He doesn’t get to decide what gets prosecuted. He only gets to investigate. It was cucked and ball-less to not recommend prosecution, but he did present the clear findings of wrongdoing, and probably raised the ire of the P-T-B by doing so.

No wonder they are so against Trump. They are afraid he will shine a light at their corruption.

That is an excellent point. Nobody with dirty hands wants that can of worms opened up because there’s no telling where it would stop. And they’ve all got dirty hands so they’re presenting a very united front.

Peer pressure from friends and co-workers, and household expenses requiring that regular paycheck, would keep you silent.

During Comey's "I am not a weasel" apologia, he used a phrase I thought interesting at the time and far more interesting as the enormity of what just transpired has become obvious: "This was done exactly the way you would want it to be done." No one on the committee interrupted him to ask "You, who?" but I have to think it was a veiled reference to the complicity of both party establishments - yes, the fix was in and you all knew it, in other words.

Because a fix it certainly was. Once again, the gatekeepers of governmental integrity, if that is not a contradiction in terms by now, were suborned, and the truth of the old Juvenal plaint Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? highlights the stink of the corruption in which the American public's noses have just been rubbed. They did it, they're admitting it, hell, they're proclaiming it triumphantly, and what are you going to do about it? Nothing. In fact, the head of this criminal enterprise stands a fair chance of being rewarded with the highest office in the land.

There is a custom in more or less civilized forms of government whereby there is an effective amnesty by the incomers to office toward the outgoers, mostly in the interest of avoiding a cycle of revenge to be associated with changes in office. For the most part that is a laudable custom, but it also means that the guilty can run out the clock, which is exactly what is happening with regard to this investigation. Does anyone imagine a newly seated Republican administration punishing IRS officials, for example, for their criminal activity during the previous administration, against a chorus of "Move on!" shrieking in the partisan media? Don't hold your breath. It isn't happening, although it ought to. This isn't silliness like stealing the W keys off keyboards, this is serious organized crime, and it's killing the country.

Government has failed. There has to be a top-to-bottom purge or the ballot box will have failed too.
