There is truth to what you are saying. People that stray from the orthodox religious traditions of their scriptures are subject to being "corrected" by their scripture in the future. This is a force for good for Christianity--as the bad Christian is challenged to love his neighbor and even his enemy. And a force for evil in Islam--as the good Muslim is challenged to hate the infidels and deceive and terrorize us.

But because it is such a shock to modern sensibilities to reach the logical conclusion, that only those that reject the Islamic faith belong in the second category...I left that part out...

The problem is that the nonpracticing muslim is prone to feeling guilty for his sins or "sins". The only assurance of salvation for any muslim is to die a martyr. The added benefit in going that way is that you also get visas to paradise for family members. The point is that you cannot vet. Today's hip playboy muslim may well turn jihadi. Remember Orland.
