Haah! Didn’t we go through a malted milk ball stage? I think that was the year of Katrina?
I love dark chocolate with caramel! And my old stand-by, Reese’s cups.
We’ve been doing this for years, NN:) And you have faithfully kept the FR hurricane threads throughout it all.

Guen! Sorry I didn’t reply ..got caught up today doing errands.
Well girl, we made it through all the others, we’ll do it again. After Charlie we had no power for 10 days. Ugh. But if they say evacuate...you go! Once you’ve stayed in a bad one it convinces you..

What happens is that rain all runs down form the mountains at 5,000 feet and all drains down into Port au Prince and creates really bad flooding.

I don’t care what anyone says Gov.Rick Scott is one of the greatest Governors we have ever had. I got to meet him again and hear him speak for 20 minutes a few weeks ago.He likes the Keys. He’s a great guy.

I’ve always had the impression Gov. Scott (businessman) is a busy doer, rather than a slick talker. He gets the job done without fanfare and hoopla. Scott resides in So. FL—Naples, yes?

There is an interactive
hurricane tracking map on the nhc.noaa website. Our tax dollars are
hard at work, as they have moved Concord, NC from its old location NE of Charlotte all the way over to ESE of Fayetteville. Whew! That must have cost us a bundle.

I just ache for Haiti. They’ve had such a rugged road. This will be awful for them. We have no idea.

Actually, I’m starting to panic.
I’m wondering if Orlando is far enough?????
The more I read......the more visuals I see......
...having gone through 4 hurricanes in 2004..........
This is beginning to sound real!

He’s definitely a doer. Pays attention, listens. Met him briefly here after the terrorist shootings (hospital where I work) and found him focused, not like a politician.
