For me, it will be difficult to view USA Today from now on as the newspaper it once was. After all, when an editorial board admits this sort of bias, its reasonable to suspect theyll see fit to deviate from other normal editorial policies, slanting their news coverage in subtle if not overt ways.

Gee, an unbiased, honest journalist. Isn’t that a novel idea.
USA Today has gone downhill in recent years. And given their headquarters is sitting in Arlington on the Potomac River, they are totally in bed with the D.C. establishment.

Apologize it should be Sharyl and not Sheryl. You're batting 1.000.
It's Attkisson, NOT Attkinsson...

USA Today is, and has been, a leftist propaganda tool, akin to the Pravda we used to ridicule last century.
It’s only real use, for the traveler at least, is the tv guide.

The USAToday, a major American “newspaper”, cited that Trump “lacks the temperament, knowledge, steadiness and honesty that America needs” - neglecting the fact that the only other real choice is demonstrably 100x worse.
Other than lack of “unwavering” support for NATO and something about opposing Russian aggression (peaceful annexation of Crimea??), they fail to mention any disagreement on policy.
The summary reason from this national “newspaper”: his tone.
Thanks for fueling the Trump movement, MSM.

I have found USA today to be unbiased. For every positive news story they run about Hillary!, they run a negative one about Trump.

Gee, an unbiased, honest journalist. Isnt that a novel idea.
Not when I began to study journalism. Not when a younger Sarah Heath studied journalism.
On TV, this all began with dopey news consultants and Happy News. Then it spread like leprosy.
To: georgiarat
USA Today is the McDonalds of newspapers.
I occasionally read it. Good for financial advice - if all of its writers are yelling "BUY! BUY!" then I sell, and vice versa.
Been doing that for 20-odd years. Haven't been wrong, yet.

the newspaper it once was I always thought it was a joke. Maybe I'm not traveling as much as I used to but I cannot remember seeing a copy for years now.

While that may be a good reason to pick up the newspaper; it also registers as a “sold” paper .. and I would never give the newspaper the satisfaction of a sale.
