Sightings of so-called "creepy clowns" have been reported across the country, and have been widely shared on social media.
Now, it seems, the epidemic has made its way to Upstate New York. Two police reports regarding creepy clowns in the Capital Region region have been filed, and several unreported accounts have turned up on social media, WTEN-TV reported.

Well, soon it will be deer season...That means armed hunters heading IN TO THE WOODS...If I were those dumbass clowns I would hang up the costume until late spring...or risk getting shot, but, someone is going to have to learn the lesson the hard way.
I think a lot of these “sightings” are publicity stunts. There’s a new version of Stephen King’s “It” coming out shortly.
If it was in the capital region, ‘twas probably the esteemed governator, Andy Son of Former Emperor Cuomo..
He qualifies as a creepy clown..
“We all float down here.”
If only there were some way to take an image of these clowns and upload it to a location where other people could see it to verify that these clowns really exist.
A lot of states have laws about wearing masks in public.

Guess it’s easier being 5’18” not to get scared.
1. Halloween is coming
2. Possible publicity stunt
3. Copy cats
4. Definitely not Juggalos/Insane clown posse (the identifier would be the hatchet man silhouette; I am not able to post a pic of it right now, but you can google it)
5. There may be some weird bulletin board/forum for clowns and they are behind it.
And I know of two Juggalos on FR, but they shall remain anonymous (I am not one, though I listen to some of their songs via the girlfriend).
Creepy Clown sightings actually started in 2008 in Washington, DC.
No laws against wearing makeup. Clowns don’t wear masks.
That is the Wasco Clown. He was a performance artist or such. I think this new wave are just copycats seeking a thrill. someone is bound to get hurt or killed......it would be like dressing up as bigfoot and running around in the woods during deer season....
